I am going to have to ask if the signature request load can be toned down some. I know so many of you have had custom signature images made by me, and believe me it was absolutely my pleasure to do so, but to be honest I've got an awful lot going on in my life right now that is limiting my time online. You'll notice I'm not posting very much on the forum since returning from my summer break, and that is why.

Please understand that I am not refusing any and all future signature image requests. I am only asking that for a little while yet I might be able to slide on signature fulfillment expectations. Since I returned earlier this month, I have been bombarded with requests for signatures...most of them have been nothing more than this:

Now about my signature image...

I have to admit I am beginning to feel like that's all I'm good for in some folks eyes. And that certainly is not helping my desire to get back onto the creation wagon. I don't want to stop providing this service to the forum, as I feel it's my little way of giving back and encouraging people to post and participate more...I just need a little patience and understanding. Please.

I'm sorry...I know I must I sound like a whiny little bitch. I don't mean to be, I just felt I needed to address this before it gets to be any more of an issue. I don't want to be rude to nice members of the forum who only have good intentions and are politely PMing me to inquire about the work I've done for others. I promise I will try to get around to each of the NICE requests as I find the time online to do so.

It's completely understandable to ask for the requests to be toned down. Not surprising that you would be bombarded with tons of requests since you've made some of the awesomest signatures I've ever seen. But you've got a life outside of TMF and everyone loves you, so I'm sure everyone will understand. 😀

That being said, dudes and dudettes from the forums:

We who provide the material for the forums, whether it be artwork, images, siggy pics, clips, stories or what-have-you, are people too and many of us have lives outside the community*. It's not that we don't enjoy taking requests or are ignoring you or playing favourites or anything. We just don't have the time to do every request that gets requested. So please, when you make a request or anything of the sort, have some understanding and consideration for those who provide these services to the community.

not sure if its irony or not, but in a time i actually wished to have someone help me with a sig, the responses i got were to go to you. then i see you made this post. i can only laugh at the situation cause like the previous poster, i'm an artist and get asked to do alot myself. i really do hope people stop taking you for granted though. i also hope you get through what your going through safe and sound.

You do a hell of a lot for us posters and I for one will always be grateful for the effort you put in here and for your beautiful artwork that adorns the majority of the folks' posts.

I wish I knew what is needed to do what you do because I'd love to be able to help you with the work load. Unlike a lot of folks on here... I have a LOT of time on my hands and as you know... idle hands are the devil's workshop.

I can draw with charcoal, pastels, colored pencils and pen and ink, but when it comes to artwork on a computer I am completely and totally ignorant and at a loss.

What you do Mimi are no less than works of art. Thought, time, patience, creativity and love go into the signatures you make.

You take all the time you need.

When it comes to you taking a breather... remember this... the ones that mind don't matter and the ones that matter don't mind.
