I read the bio of Brando in the newspapers this morning. All of his wives all had single names. Davita. Tarita. Querida. Whatever.
He was one very strange fellow. But man, he was great 😉

Ya, he did apparently have a thing for um "island girls," which is kind of funny because traditional Italians tend to stick to "their own kind."
I think his strangeness was why even when his looks went, people remained fascinated with him. And he was completely unpredictable and totally unconcerned with what Hollywood thought of him and his behavior.
"Last Tango" was the very first x-rated movie I ever watched 😉

Steph, may I first add to the sentiment which has already been expressed in this tread - that is, you're home alone? Rats (to say the least)! Why do things always have to work out that way?
I don't have an answer to that one, but I can shed some light on the Italian thing. Both my parents were Italian and so were their parents so I'm the real deal. It's a myth that Italians only date other Italians. I speak from experience because after scores after liasons (for lack of a better word), and a few relationships, I've never dated an Italian in my life. Interesting, huh? Maybe not 😛
As for Brando, there always seemed to be a myth surrounding his screen prescence. Even after he got fat, it was still interesting to watch him on screen. I just saw him in a flick with DeNiro and Ed Norton not long ago. I didn't even realize that Marlon was 80.
