The only retail outlet I could think of that would have a plausible possibility of a sales lady under something she could not easily get out of.

I love how people are posting to this guy in first person/present tense like he's on a two-way radio at the fucking matress store!!
I'm in no way condoning and/or advocating tickling an unsuspecting stranger...
but...
😕
Listen guys. Seriously. Don't even contemplate something like this. It is not worth the trouble it could lead to.
I struck up an innocent conversation with a young lady and asked
"Can I ask you a weird question?"
"Yes sure!"
"what size foot have you got"
"Seven, why?"
"Can I...." with that i leaned down a bit and she moved away
"sorry this is weird..." I said, and she moved back a bit and said
"yeah it is weird"
so i got up and walked away.
But she said that I grabbed her ankle and that she kicked at me!! A complete lie! The police questioned me, and although the video footage backs me up, I'm still waiting to see whether I get into trouble or not. Hopefully not, although I was an idiot.
I'm only telling you this because in my case there was no physical contact and I should be OK. After all, i've not touched her, and asked permission to ask her a weird question and she seemed fine with it all.
But she called me a foot fetish freak and she is clearly the type of person who does not like any people with weird-likes.
For the love of God. NEVER EVER, EVER ever contemplate touching someone. It's not worth the worry and trouble.
Please don't bombard me with messages of me being stupid, because clearly i'm a bit nervous about it all.
But, If I hadn't talked to the girl first
If I hadn't gotten permission to ask a weird question
If the girl hadn't answered the weird question straight away without hesitation and then asked me to elaborate and if I HAD touched her. I would be in big trouble. I may still be in some trouble for having a weird conversation, although I hope to God that I won't be.
That place has cameras. That lady could get freaked. That girl could call the police. Walk away.
If you were in a matress outlet and a sales lady were laying under a bed frame setting up a display and was wearing sandals that exposed her arch or bottom of the foot.....
Would you
1. Reach down and tickle her foot
2. Only tickle her if no one was watching
3. Tickle her foot but move away quickly
4. Tickle her foot and wait/watch for her reaction
5. Not tickle her but walk away thinking about what you would like to do
6. Not tickle her, leave the store when done shopping and when you got home hit your forehead and exclaim, "Why didn't I tickle her!?"

Dude, your concern is merited. And NO, no-one should do anything like this in real life, but I really DO think when dragon_fire517 posted the original scenario, he was doing just that: posting a scenario!
He's not going to do this for real even though he asked what people would do "for real".

I am not sure I am following the reasoning.
If it is a fantasy scenario, then it is not "for real".
If it is for real, then answers so far simply reflect what people would do - or think they would realistically do.
* shrug *I just think he was having fun posting for the first time and not realizing that some might take this all the way to Mt. Everest.

No, those men in the black trenchcoats hiding behind the tree in your back yard aren't coming to get you. (sigh)

First of all ... the words "assault" , "victim" , & "animal" are a bit strong.
That being said ... to answer your question , dragon_fire517 , I'd tickle the hell outta that bitch.![]()
So, you'd pounce on a complete stranger who is going about her business doing her job, a "bitch", as you put it, because you got a tingle in your groin area from looking at someone's foot? I could go on endlessly about the reasons that I find this offensive, adolescent and stupid. But really, it can be summed up in two words "Gross, dude."
That would be assault. She would be the victim. And you would be acting like an animal. It pains me to say that, because I really like animals.
Exactly how many restraining orders DO you have with your name on them?
For the love of all things, please, PLEASE read the REST of the thread before posting. This has already been discussed to death.
Id like to think that the original posters intentions were simply to bring up a hypeothetical situation and to simply spark peoples imaginations in that sort of situation. And I simply saw the humor in what he was saying as did some of the other posters here. No one in their RIGHT MIND would Id like to think would act on doing such a thing. Ive seen far worst things here said that blur the lines between fantasy and reality all the time. And well he did give several choices as to how one would react. Its sort of like asking "what if" you found a thousand dollars in the back of a cab. Do you keep it or return it?

....and go shopping at the matress store.![]()
