I recently posted some foot pics here in the forum. It was my first time posting anything like that and I did it after much encouragement. I got some wonderful responses which I greatly appreciated but evidentally there was one person that just didn't like them. Fortunately for me, someone screen capped the comments and forwarded them to me to make me aware so the following comments are word for word:

Sultry's feet look gross ewwwwww

I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. She's always talking about how nice her feet are. Thats a lie. I"m gonna be sick.

Now I understand that everyone on here is entitled to their own opinion. If this had been posted in the actual thread where the pics are as a response I would have ignored it considering the source. and respected the right to have the opinion. But it was done in the chatroom where this person knows I go quite frequently and am well known. This tells me that it was said out of spite. Its also interesting that this person didn't say it while I was in the room. I will not say anything else on the subject but I WILL NOT stand by and be insulted like that. You don't like my pics? Fine. Say you don't like the pics. Say that you don't like the way my feet look. Thats your perogative. But I do not appreciate the childish manner in which it was done.

Who cares what rude jerks think? Even if their statements were accurate, which is entirely a matter of personal opinion, they shouldn't spew things out in ways that hurt others. That makes THEM look ugly in the one way that truly counts.

Just flush it with the rest of the crap that it goes so well with.

First off, Sultry, let me say that Iam sorry that happened to you. Whoever did that is nothing more than a troublemaker, who violated rules, and should be reprimanded. It is extremely rude to post a comment like that. As the rules say, if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all. As someone who has received more than his share of being flamed on here for various reasons, I have been in the position of being on the receiving end of some nasty comments from people. I know it makes you angry, but my course of action in handling such flames is simply to report the troll to the mods, and let them deal with it, and then place whoever did the flaming on ignore. They are not worthy of my time, nor is this person who flamed you worthy of your time. Unfortunately, while this place is filled with good people, we also have some people who need to inflate their own egos by insulting others, and who dont know how to behave.
Again, Iam sorry it happened to you. You are too nice a person to have to deal with being flamed like that. My advice as someone who has had it happen to him, is to report, then ignore. Let the mods deal with it. A troublemaker like that would never again occupy any of my time were they directing such a rude comment at me. I know it makes you mad, but as someone who has had it happen to him, it is the best advice I can give you.

As a chatroom moderator I feel these comments are inflammatory and not appropriate behavior. The Golden Rule applies to the chatroom as well as the main forum as far as I am aware. One is allowed to have opinions but one is not allowed to be insulting.

Funny how, whenever you feel good enough about yourself to share yourself with those you have developed a sense of trust, there's always some miserable, tortured individual in desperate need of sound professional help to make a grand attempt to ruin your day.
