Interesting ratio

I just noticed that the number of posts in GD before I put this one up was exactly 250,000, so perhaps this is number 250,001, depending on what other posts are being made at this time. Conversely, there are only 77,000 plus posts in Tickling Discussion, a more than 3 to 1 ratio. This is probably because there are so many more thread and discussion topics in General Discussion than there are in Tickling Discussion. This ratio also goes to show us that we are so much more diversified than just being a tickling forum. This, to me is a positive thing.
One final sidebar, with all the posts of our kingpin of posting, Mr Milagros, has anyone ever stopped to consider what percentage of total forum posts, or percentage of posts in certain forums, have been made by Milagros? Maybe this is a mindless rant, but just food for thought.

......Dude, youve just destroyed half of my brain cells thinking about that... I hate maths..er...not sure what your saying, but Ive noticed that quite alot of people whove made accounts on here have never posted at all. I guess for alot of them they are just a wee bit shy. I mean, I didnt post for about 2 months, even after I got my account. Some of them may just be here for the chatroom...I dont know.

Milagros (bless his post-***** heart 😀 ) probably has 62% stock in the TMF Humor Forum...lol. I'd say about half, if not slightly more, of his posts are contained within that realm.

As for the 3 to 1 ratio you pointed out, that also explains why the weekly trivia game hosted in the chat room is based on GENERAL topics. If it were based on tickling alone, there would not be nearly enough content for a weekly game.

At this moment, 6:16 PM Mountain Standard time, there are 454,323 total posts on the forum, and Milagros has posted 40309 times. Thus, Milagros is currently responsible for 8.8723% of the posts that on the TMF. Yikes!

Do you smell smoke, Leonard? That's because Myr is straining his brain to try to keep up with you! lol 😛 Seriously, what difference does it make? I say after....sayyyy....20,000 posts the level should turn to TMF Fanatic and just stay there. 😉

As for the ratio, Mitchell, I'd love for someone (not me) to go through and see how many of those posts have any actual content and figure the ratio of those that do. Remember that the humor forum has a TON of one word and nonsense answers compared to other sections. Also keep in mind that TD is not the only place where tickling is discussed. All but the GD areas relate to tickling in some form...talk about it, images of it, looking for it, etc.

HDS never believed me when I told him that, he thought my object was to pass him. But when he had been gone for months and I already had more than twice as many posts as he did, I kept on posting. Becasue I like it, not because I'm in any competition. 😀
