Is anybody here in the real estate business?

if anybody does i have some questions...


im a 21 year old student of interior decorating, and i was wondering if working in the real estate business would help me in that feild.

if you know if that will help please tell me. im just kinda stuck in a job that i knew i would be hired, but i really wanna start getting into my feild and be happy going to work. if anyone knows of any other job ideas please let me know.

i've tried furniture stores and thats an option, but i wanted to broden the spectrum i guess.

so any ideas please inform me. thru this post or pm's i dont mind...

Hmmm..I don't know. Mom's a real estate agent for 25 years now~you're subject only to others' ideas. I think maybe you'd be better served by studying architecture, where you can create your own landscape from scratch, so to speak....

Real Estate is a lucrative business. I would imagine your interior decorating skills would come in handy when selling a house to prospective clients. You could suggest ideas that other realtors might not be able to envision.

If you do go into Real Estate you'll have a lot of new stuff to learn, and a lot of it depends on poise, self confidence, and communication skills. If you're outgoing and a "people person" it might be a good idea.

Drew's right, and of course you have decision to make: new homes or resale....Mom sells in resale but I do recommend new homes~better benefits...
