I dont really care what she is. I saw an half hour interview with her and she seems like a very nice person. To me thats what really matters.

I must have been living under a rock because at first i wrote off lady gaga as another no talent pop star. I started doing my research and watching a few of her videos. I was so wrong. Agreed. The clothes, the stage show, the videos, it's all a spectacle for the show part of business. Regular clothes/image don't sell with that kinda music. It doesn't fit the image. She tried. She released an album under her actual name and it probably sold eight copies, one of which she probably bought herself.

Because she's worked behind the scenes as well, she knows exactly what she's doing and she's doing it very well. The whole time, poking fun and how ridiculous it all is in the lyrics of her songs, the meanings behind her videos, and some of her stage performances. Even the title, "The Fame" and, "The Fame Monster" point the mirror at everyone who buys her music.

I believe she is a woman, and a very talented one at that. There are plenty of photos of her before she became "Lady Gaga" (she was even in an MTV episode of Boiling points- check youtube if you don't believe me.)
They even showed pictures of when she was a little girl during the interview with Barbara Walters. Bottom line, the rumor of her being mix-gendered was a classic example of internet bullshit, and its a credit to her that she didn't sue the shit out of those who started the rumor.

i think she enjoys playing mind game with the media. She is very sarcastic sometimes when she said in a performance. "someone said gaga, do you have a penis" and she replied "yes and its much bigger than yours".

This is of course live, and but for a few modern nods, this is a belter of a ballad that would not been out of place in the 1970's and it's construction musically is very much of that time.

She can sing. No questions.

Will she have staying power? That time will tell. But I believe she has the talent to be about for quite some time.

As it is, I think she's a man - the 'hooded eyes' look makes her look like a bloke. It's not a bad thing, just my observation.

I saw her perform alongside Elton John at the grammys and I didn't even recognize her--had to call my daughter to confirm it. Not too many people can duet with Elton John but she did well. She can actually sing and I personally would like her to put out more quality music and leave the pop crap alone.

Oh, Mr Master Baiter (great screenname btw....uh, no, not really) whether she's hermathrodite (sp) or not, she's a human being, not an "it!" To make those kind of comments is rude is an understatement. She's someone's daughter, sister, etc. At the end of the day she doesn't give a crap what folks think and I wouldn't have much of a problem cashing her paycheck.

I'll say she was a notch or two better, but the costumes and hair cancel it out.
