Is there a most common most ticklish spot by gender?

Okay, here's an interesting question that I dont think has ever been asked before. We all ask general questions about where each other is most ticklish and such. My question in this thread is does everyone think that gender has anything to do with a most common spot of being most ticklish? For example, do forum members think it is more common for girls to have extremely ticklish feet as opposed to men, or that guys are more often most ticklish on their midsections as opposed to girls? I'm not sure if there is actually any difference, because I have talked to girls who have extremely ticklish feet, and others who arent ticklish at all on their feet but have very ticklish midsections or bellies. I was just curious as to a general reaction to this question. Thanks.

Well in all my experiances, women seem to be the most ticklish around the nape of the neck and soles of the feet.

As for guys, I don't know and frankly wish to keep it that way😀

Foot Fanatic, actually, until I came to TMF, almost all women I have ever known in my life except one had either moderately to very to extremely ticklish soles of the feet. Since I joined TMF, probably because we are around so many women talking tickling at one time, I have actually found that many women arent even that ticklish on their feet, and are more ticklish on their bellies, ribs, underarms or such. I do recall a couple of female pen pals telling me they were extremely ticklish on their necks and feet, but it seems to me that I have discovered more tickle spots for women since I joined this site. Only my experience.

My most ticklish spot is armpits. But I am not sure how this works on a gender basis. In my experience men have been ticklish in basically the same spots as me. I think we are probably all equal on the ticklish spot front really - i think the most sensitive place probably varies amongst all of us regardless of sex.

Well, I heard on a science show called Brainiac, that men are more ticklish than women. In practice, however, I realised that most guys I tickle are about the same sensitivity as I am. They also have similar ticklish spots to me, but they seem worse on their feet than I am, while I'm worse on my midsection than they are. I don't know if this will help, but I think it depends on the person about their sensitivity, not their gender.

Soft Soles & Ticklish Toes

Well, besides myself, all of my girl friends have ticklish feet and toes. Of I only know this from casual conversation. Only one of them, my closest friend knows about my tickling fetish. Speaking from my own experience, since I keep my feet very soft and smooth, it would be diffcult for me to imagine them not being ticklish. Considering that I am hysterically ticklish, you can imagine the wonderful tickling predicaments I can get myself into. (giggles)

I once knew a girl in my teenage years who was not at all ticklish on her feet. You would go to touch and tickle her feet, even if she was barefoot, and she would say:" Iam not afraid of my feet", and have no reaction to the tickling. However, a couple of times I went to tickle her sides. (She was about 19 and I was 13 at the time) When I did that, she would be quite ticklish, and she admitted that she was "Afraid of her sides". The tops of her feet were nice, polished toes and such, but the soles were somewhat calloused, and not ticklish. This is the most classic case I knew of where a girl was not at all ticklish on her feet, but highly ticklish somewhere else. Except for this one girl, until I found TMF, most girls I have known in my life, except my ex GF Jenny, who as I've said wasnt ticklish at all anywhere on her body, have been at least somewhat ticklish on the feet. TMF has shown me differently, though, and in the last two years I have talked to girls here who are very ticklish other places, but not at all on the feet.

Mitch, in my opinion there isn't that much difference in sensation/ ticklishness between men and women.

As I grew up, I saw girls tickled nearly every day....girls tickled on the playground, tickled in class, on the school bus....or in our neighborhood (not to mention dad occasionally tickling mom); and except on rare occasions, it was guys tickling girls...and the girls laughing hysterically.

In my entire life, I doubt I've witnessed more than 3 or 4 guys being tickled...and never on their feet (while probably 70% of the time I saw a girl tickled, it was on her feet); the few guys I ever saw tickled at school were tickled by other guys....bullies, or bigger guys on the football team, and always tickled on their belly, ribs, or neck.

My three younger sisters were tickled all the time as they grew up...by me, their male cousins, friends, friend's brothers, boyfriends, guys at school, etc. Other than a quick tickle by my oldest sister, aunt or two female cousins, until Traci and I began dating last year, I'd never been seriously tickled in my life (and Traci is the first person I can remember to ever tickle my feet; sis and my cousins always tickled me around the waist/ ribs/ tummy area).

Therefore in my mind....I saw many, many girls laughing their heads off from being tickled on their feet, but never any guys....so the natural perception was that girls were MUCH more ticklish than guys...especially on their bare feet and toes.

I've never met a girl that wasn't at least a little ticklish on their hips. I've tickled female coworkers that are convinced they arn't ticklish and are blown away that they're sqwirming from me kneeding their hip bones.
I used to come up to young coworkers with their hands full and playfully ask: whats in your pocket? and reach in their front pocket and squeeze their hips to peels of squeels😀
Also if someone says their feet arn't ticklish? try getting your fingers just under the toes from the bottem. The answer might suprise you

The onle "universal" spot I've found is on the hip...toward the pelvic area, where the thigh meets it. The "pocket method" above is probably the best way to describe it. Although it can be a real "no-no" area unless you are quite familiar with the 'lee.
