IS tickling solely sexual?

Tickling has always been sexual. I usually incorporate it into every one of my sexual encounters. It's truly a turn on and leads to great fore play. Butt I've noticed recently that the urge to tickle...or even the thought of tickling evaporates quickly after orgasm. for instance, recently I met up with a long-time tickle buddy. For others it's both, sexual and non sexual.

For the great majority it's nothing more then aggravating and has no sexual connotation at all.

For me.. no.. I fantasize about it in any way. Sexual, playful, as punishment for me,.. or for a woman.

Case in point of how its not sexual for me.

I don't know if you ever saw my posts on here about my former best friend.. (male) We had a bitter breakup after 30 years when my mom was sick with cancer.

His mother.. an older woman I would never have sex with.. and who was largely responsible for the breakup, is supposedly, according to him, lethally ticklish. Really Myriads?! Wow...I wouldn't agree with that at all. I mean, I've been on the TMF a long time, as well as other websites, and I'd say just the opposite. I would bet those who relate even a little sexual gratification from tickling FAR out weighs those who get none at all, as you put it. Interesting.

Before I joined this site.. I had a straight male pen pal who liked tickling women. We both had female pen pals who we used to ask tickling questions to. Many times.. when the girls answered the tickling questions, they would say "Yes, I'm ticklish, but I hate to be tickled". I've experienced this myself.. when I've tickled women in real life.. who were not members of this site. They were ticklish, but didn't like when I tickled them.

Bottom line... for most members of this site, tickling is sexual in some way.. Either we enjoy tickling others, being tickled ourselves.. or both. For most "Vanillas", they don't enjoy tickling at all.. and just find it annoying.. as Myriads pointed out.

It's on the exact same level as making out, for me. It doesn't necessarily have to lead to sex every time, but it's sexual, and I wouldn't do it with anyone I wasn't romantically involved with.

There is non-sexual tickling, just as there are non-sexual kissing.

But even the sexual kind can become more or less sexual because it can take on a life of it's own - just like other fetiches. In some periods tickling can, for me, become more like an art or craft rather than a foreplay to sex and in those periods I can get interested in tickling pretty soon after orgasm.

But, as soon as I orgasm, the very thought of her mother tickling me makes me sick to my stomach.

One thing is that that you may be less interested in tickling after orgasm, but that something you wanted to do when you were tickle-aroused would later make you sick... seriously, that sounds a bit worrying.
