I'm generally opposed to the idea of tickling someone against their will. Any relationship, whether it be platonic or romantic, is at some level built upon the ideals of trust and respect. If a person tells you not to do something and you continue to do it anyway, it expresses a lack of respect for the person and fractures their trust. Trying to "force" a fetish, or any activity really, on a person rarely ends well. Having read the original thread that sparked this whole topic, I'd recommend determining how important it is to Moose that a partner share his love of tickling. If it is a big enough factor, then perhaps he should consider ending the relationship and seeking out someone who will enjoy or at the very least tolerate the tickling.

I wanted to read the replies before responding to this, because this is a very touchy (No pun intended) issue, in my view.

It seems to me that many people (Vanillas) engage in unplanned tickling, often against the ticklee's will. I dont think I've ever seen a vanilla person walk up to someone, and say "Can I tickle you". It just kind of happens.

That having been said, if the person being tickled truly hates it, the person who is tickling them has a moral obligation to stop. Rarely have I seen a vanilla person being tickled against their will, subjected to it for a long period of time. Often, telling the ler to stop, usually should, and does, get them to stop after a short period of time, even if not immediately.

I hope I'm on track with my thoughts here. To go a step further, I would never forciably tie up a girl, and tickle her against her will. Simply put, that is basically illegal. Tickling a girl while she was tied would only happen if it was agreed to beforehand, including the length of time being tickled, and the safety word in case the tickling gets too much.

You know how I roll in my politics, so I firmly believe that as long as you don't bring harm or injury to another, live as you choose WITH CONSENTING ADULTS!!
