I have another question:
Does anyone really care???

well yes

what the hell? i asked a simple question if u aint got nothing nice to say dont say it all.

Celebrity Mystique....

It would be quite a story. perhaps they kept some DNA at least, and in a few years he could be cloned. Would that count as coming back?

Btw, why do you think that his death may have been rigged? Not heavy into the gangsta stuff, so I'm just curious. Was his career on the decline or was he(or his family) in severe danger for some reason?

Who knows with celebrities...perhaps he just wanted a few peaceful years in the country. BUT, he's gonna have to move JayZs pile of money over if he comes back. Q

No...

I think Tupac Shakur is dead.

to the people who wrote the rude comments: it was completely uncalled for. if you dont care about the topic, there is really no need to respond in a negative way to this question. no one asked you if you are a 2pac fan or not. dont respond if you dont care.

anyway, to the topic at hand. it is hard to tell if he is dead or not. WAY TOO MANY THINGS can point to him being alive. if he is dead, fine, if he isnt, it will be the shock of a lifetime for a lot of people. either way, i will not lose sleep. but let's look at some of the things that can point to him being alive.

1) as Encoding said, 2pac is coming with another album. gee, how many songs did this guy write, that sound good, before he "died" back in 1996?? i mean, he has come out will lots of DOUBLE-CD albums since his death. i find that kind of odd.

2)his first album when after he died or just before was under the name of Makaveli. a couple of thoughts about that particular album. first, the name Makaveli. the name comes from Machiavelli (sp?) a guy who faked his death to get away from his enemies. coincidental? next, you have a picture of 2pac on a cross. what did Christ do after he was crucified? he was resurrected. 2pac is in no form, shape or way anything remotely close to the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and he even put that on his album that he means no disrespect. but, the symbolism behind the whole scene is something to think about.

3) did anyone know that 2pac's life insurance was NEVER cashed out? his Mom or any "heir" never collected the premium. why? maybe because it is a crime to cash out a policy if the person is NOT dead. hmmmmmmmmmmm.

4) there was never a "public" funeral. his body was immediately cremated. what about the doctors you say? they can be easily bought..

5) like Encoding also said, there are a LOT of references to the number 7. year 2003 will be the 7th year after his death.

what does this all mean? maybe it is 2pac's way of messing with our heads. maybe he is alive and will shock the entire world. talk about publicity. NO music or entertainer ever pulled off something like this before. he will be the most recognized person on the planet after a stunt like that. but then again, he could be dead and just like messing with his fans minds. who knows. but i guess we will all find out one day. you do have to admit, it is pretty fascinating.

I'm guessing this guy's a singer, right? I'm sure I probably heard the name before, but I don't recall it. Is he some talented musician or something or just another celebrity who died and now everyone freaks out about him?
😕

Is this like the Elvis situation? "Is he dead or not?"

I figure people who fake their own deaths probably deserve to get there sooner for the wasted grief of the people who shed tears. So, whoever he is...I hope he really is dead...lol..if not, SHAME ON HIM! 😛

Joby

He's dead, just like Andy Kaufman and Elvis, and like Paul McCartney isn't, despite lots of clues in the 1960s... they say Kennedy is kept alive in Parkland Hospital on a life support system. Houdini was supposed to come back something like 75 years after he died (but didn't),, Abe Vigoda was reported dead in the 1980s - but wasn't. We all want our favorite people to still be around, but there's really never been any great hidden conspiracy where someone famous supposedly died but actually was alive. The Beatles still put out songs, and one of them died in 1980 - there are Stu Sutcliff Beatles songs out there and he died before they becmae world famous! There's music being released by Nirvana, The Sex Pistols, Aaliya- honestly, any musician(s) with some popularity has an enormous backlog of takes, unused material, out-takes, interpretations & so on. I'd just heard that the soundtrack song "Goldfinger" was done something like 30 times before they found a version they liked.

There's no reason for his death to be faked, becuase there were more popular hip hop artists at that time who might want to get away from the business. His death would be news, but not as big as someone elses (sorry, I'm forgetting who was popular 7 years ago to use as an example) so if a record comapmny wanted to bring in $$$ woulnd't the "death" of a bigger star from that period bring in more $$? Add to that, if he just wanted to get away from the life for awhile, he could have just dropped out or retired, and come back later - a lot of performers do that. Plus, he liked to live large, so how/why would he hide his exsistance? Why would he do such a terrible scam on his fans? His family? And a coverup this big - somebody would leak something. And if people leave clues in the album, then the cover up failed. If people believe the clues in the album and he is alive, the cover up failed. So why doesn't he come right back out? Think of the anger and scandal if he did? He'd be screwing himself. And think of it - he's alive but can't comeout publically, yet he's still working as hard as before putting out albums, so the work load is there but not the fringe benfits and the recognition (we all like ego stroking, after all)? And then by putting clues in the albums, he's giving himself away anyway? But the clues keep people buying albums, so there's no reason a record comapny would keep putting them out there, just to make $$ of someone who dies 7 years ago.

He was shot, there was a bullet riddled car and body. There were witnesses. He'd been shot twice before. There were morgue photos and a coroner's report. And think of the problems if someone ordered any DNA testing on blod samples taken at the site and it turned out to be someone else's blood - blood of someoene who died in place of 2 Pac? Creative people & young performers have died before, unfortunatly, killed by those around them, from Marvin Gaye Otis Redding to Phil Hartman, Selena & Jam Master Jay. The big issue was who killed 2 Pac, why, and how can they pay their debt to society by callously shooting somene in the street? And for an industry that seems to say how respectful it is to him, why isn't anyone coming forward - even anonymously - with useable info, not rumors or hints, on how to nails these guys? I believe more that Biggie Smalls died in retaliation to 2 Pac's death (and society at large is supposed to accept this as a good thing somehow, from those who did it....) than B.I.G.'s death was real but 2 Pac's was fake.

yes but..

pac wasnt like any other performer he had people trying to kill him nonstop this was the perfect plan, Las vegas is a pay off city well have to see 9/13/2003. plus he said he wanted to get away from thug life so now hes hiding but still doing what he loves making music not having to worry about death, hes not like elvis or them, did elvis say: expect me like u expect jesus to come back? on his albums did elvis leave clues in his albums did elvis mimic jesus? no i dint think so.. Oh and by the way if pac is alive Im sure his mom is 100% in on it. and so is suge night and bone thugs. shes been sending money to jamica but wont tell whos she sending it to? hmmmm i wonder?

But WHY would he come back if people were trying to kill him? And isn't it a big gamble to drop out of the music scene to come back later, when one considers how the scene changes so much evry few years? I have no idea who the $$$ is going to in Jamacia, but that doesn't mean it's for 2 Pac; it could be for drug dealers, it could be for starving orphans or anyhting in between. Anyone could be putting clues on an album, it's been done before. Prince said "Jesus is coming" back in 1983 and not only has he not, but Prince's career has cooled down since then. And 2 Pac acted, as well. You can't do that when you're faking a death, but he also loved that and it was a source of income for him as well.

Elvis was just one example, and he just wants to stay hidden, if that's his plan (excpet I frimly believe he's dead).

And I just see a big PR problem with Pac commin' back - he played people who had real concern for him as fools, while newer, younger people stepped into the limelight. That would be tough for a fan to deal with. I've never heard of any celebrity successfully faking a death and then coming back. The risks are big, the reward low. Plenty of people persuit their artistic drives, though, outside the public eye, famous and non. I've heard of people faking deaths, but it's usally for money and they often get caught, and I've never heard of a famous person go through it. People have been mistakenly thoguht dead, but turned out to be alive. But to do it on purpose, with the plan to come back? If this was a big cover up, there are more people involved than those mentioned, and there'd be a "weakest link" somehwere. I'll believe it when I see it, like you said, in September.

Simple..

His OWN relatives identified the body...

I think he's alive...

I definately think 2Pac is still alive. i remember a music video he was in (i can't remember which one) and he was wearing Air Jordans that came out in 1999...3 years after his death. i know celebs can get advance editions of clothing and stuff, but clothing companies never make designs THAT far in advance. Plus he has a duet with Ja Rule in which he calls Ja Rule out by his name...was Ja Rule even recording in 1995/1996? seven or eight years ago? AND there is no record of an autopsy performed on his body, even though all homicide victims are required by law to have one. it's really hard to say, but if he is dead, then it would be one of the greatest publicity stunts of all time. but the question is...isn't faking your own death against the law??

PS...while some may not see 2Pac is talented, maybe they aren't too familiar with his music or rap/urban music where he is a platinum selling artist and respected icon. one must keep an open mind...genius or talent comes in all forms...even those we don't like or accept. i'm not a huge fan of heavy metal/hard rock, but Steve Vai and Eric Clapton absolutely amaze me with their skill.

PSS...i'm totally drunk right now because my Philadelphia Eagles have broken my heart ALMOST more than any woman ever did! Thank God for BEER!! :sowrong:

like i mentioned before, if he is dead or alive, no one will lose sleep. however, again, if you dont care about the topic, then why respond? i am speaking about Neutron. 1st of all, of course HIS relatives identified his body. i'm sure if he is alive, his OWN mother would know that. 2nd, for a guy that doesnt care about 2pac, how do you even know if he had insurance or not? remember, you dont care. there would be no mention of his mother and his insurance if he had none. 3rd, you say he has no talent. you my friend are as blind as a bat. 2pac is one of THE most talented artists of all time. you may not agree with his "thug" image, but the man was highly intelligient and extremely talented. he was one the most gifted artists ever to grace the music scene. but i forgot, you dont care, so how should you know? why are you even bothering to respond to this topic?

now for the topic at hand. Oddjob, you mention Elvis. Elvis is as dead as a doornail. the difference between the two is that Elvis was not releasing multiple albums after his death, take on a name of someone who actually faked his own death, and pretty much leave a bunch of clues that he may still be alive. like i said, 2pac may be indeed dead, but there are lingering things that may indeed mean he is alive. as for the reward being to low for him returning. how? if 2pac comes back, that will be the biggest news to hit the airwaves. you do realize that him returning will have the biggest fanfare of all time. a man as popular as 2pac comes back from the dead. i think his first album released after he comes back will hit all time record sales. him returning will definitely heap huge rewards for him. true, coming back means he fooled a bunch of people, but then again, it would set him apart from all the other artists that have ever produced an album.

bottom line, if 2pac comes back then he comes back and we will be all amazed and surprised. if he doesnt, he doesnt. it is just interesting thinking about the possibility. which was probably his intent even if he is indeed dead. to get people talking about him, even after he is gone.

I remain rather ambivalent on this issue, for several reasons.

First, I do believe that he did fake his demise in 1996. Many of the issues surrounding his death have been debunked, for example, both the autopsy picture found in Cathy Scott's book and his death certificate have been cogently argued to be dubious. For those who have seen the autopsy picture, you will notice he is missing a tattoo on his neck(the Makaveli one) as well as the fact that his head appears still completely bald. How does a one whose been in a hospital bed for roughly 6 days not have any hair growing? As for his death certificate, it is riddled with inconsistancies, ranging from his height to his site of employment. This and more can be found on the site

as for him being alive? Well, while he might have faked his death, a lot can happen in 6+ years, so perhaps he might have been killed by some other means during his hideout. Though, recently, rapper KRS-ONE claimed to have spotted 2Pac in Jamaica...why would an artist of his status be mendacious about such a matter, one can only conjecture.

Even if 2Pac is alive and had planned to return this year, how hip hop has changed since 1996 probably wouldn't present an environment compatible with the beliefs that he had stressed in his music. With reagrds to what does remain fertile, one thing we can certainly be consonant on, that his music continues to enrich our minds, serving as nuggets of inspiration applicable in dealing with the struggles in our personal lives. 😉

and I have no clue as to what the Shakur estate and his mother are doing to fuel the alive theories, but with regards to the final, so called "hidden track" in the end of Bettter Dayz, a knowledgable individual I consult had informed me that these words were uttered by 2Pac during his time incarcerated.

🙂

Wow. People who didn't like Pac still knew an awful lot about him...:wow: It's the same with Elvis, I've noticed.

I've learned that people take their favorite artists very personally, and it's really hurtful to insult their preferences-I have several friends and lovers who HATE my beloved Beatles, but they're tolerant of the music for me. I feel the same about '80's hair bands but deal with it on road trips for my buddy's sake-we compromise. I take dealing with such things as a sign of patience and maturity, always nice to see amonst people...

I haven't the foggiest notion whether Pac's alive. I'd be pleased if he were, I liked his music and videos though I'm not a rap fan-I love to dance, and I like most anything that allows me to get my groove on at the club or a decent party. I also thought he was attractive and funny, I still pop 'Poetic Justice' in the VCR on occasion. As for the music still being released, I believe those are simply tracks he did years ago and never finished, being modified and used now. I like what I've been hearing and hope they continue 🙂

well if he dont return this year then R.I.P i just find it weired how nothing happned that he wanted, he wanted to be buried and he wanted rappers to rap at his funeral why was none of this fulfiled? and why in the heck is his next album Called The Second comming? I think this album is going to have the most weirdest alive clues so far. And by the way on his death date this year 9/13/03 theres supposed to be a movie released called Tupac: resa-rec-shun what is this one going to theatres? its supposed to be narrated by tupac himself up to his death, How the heck can he do that? or is it for publicty?

Oh and....

Nuetron u have NO idea how smart u look talking about an music artis that u know nothing about. Tupac wasnt talented? i think when someone his dead for 7 years and there still taking over the rap game I think thats talent buddy.
