Isolated From Other Ticklephiles...

I am feeling quite isolated from the tickling community at the moment. I talk to people online a lot, but they all live in the U.S. I know there is a tickling community in Britain, but I am currently living in the West Country (For those of you not familiar with it, it's the pointy bit in the bottom left corner of the country), well away from anyone else who shares my interest.

Anyone else feeling isolated?

I hope so, but it's not looking hopeful. Exeter is one of only a couple of cities in this area, mostly it's just rural.

Don't be so sure. I live in London (a city of millions) and I feel isolated.

There seem to be a few people into tickling in the West Yorkshire area. I don't know if they are members of TMF or not but I have had quite a few PMs on UKTF. Now I come to think of it they were all men lol. If there are men there must be women too. I know Yorkshire is nowhere near either of you but if you're willing to travel you could be in for some fun. It is hard to even start internet conversations with people in your area if people don't fill in their profiles and say which area they are in.

I'm sure that you will soon find a ticklephile or at least some girls in your part of the woods in the UK area that would not mind you tickling them for awhile. And also remember that thier is a UK section on this forum too post to as well i think. For all the dark and gray and isolated days that people have in all walks of life. There is always good and happy days as well to go with it. So hang in thier the best that you can and keep your chin up.

You don't have to tell anyone what you're going to do. Just say that you are going to meet a girl. I'm sure no one will ask what you plan to do with the girl. I wouldn't ask anyone exactly what they plan to do. Good luck 🙂

You know, I used to have that rational...Nowadays even though I presently live with my folks who try to control me and my life, I am a adult with my own will,thoughts,opinions,dreams,hopes,ect and I think my folks need to know some info,but not everything I do with my life,my free time,etc...so they are on what I call " a need to know " basis..If I think they need to know,I do share...if not, what they don;t know,won;t hurt them

I think most ticklephiles feel isolated because it's generally hard to find others interested in tickling. Though there are those lucky few who find somebody special to share their interest with, it's oftenly rare cases as far as I can make out.

I know how you feel - I live in a city of a million people in western Canada and haven't found a real ticklee yet - I had one girl allow me to tickle her sides while sitting on my lap a few months ago - but that's it so far.

The thing is Steph is absolutely spot on here. I once, using a different sign on, tried to start a small cinema and coffee club in London for TMF type people. Predictably the only response I got was a couple of people telling me why it wouldn't work.

If I was twenty years younger, and didn't have so many other interests I admit I would try harder with this. Stephs point of friendship first, tickling second, however should be borne in mind for everyone. Especially as it is likely to lead to repeat/regular tickles.
