Just heard John Wooden just passed away, very sad. He was an excellent coach and very beloved by all of college basketball but especially by all who follow UCLA basketball.

I can't imagine being alive for that long. William Taft was president when he was born.

RIP Mr. Wooden.
 
Sorry, just saw this thread. I stated my thread and sat for about 30 minutes watching ESPN news before I finished it.

I think we can keep both, I hope you don't mind Barbershopman....The Wizard is worth at least 2 threads.

Very well said RobAce, when you win 10 NCAA championships, coach a team to an 88 game win streak and live to be 99, he may deserve even more than two.
