Jorge "Giant" Gonzalez passes away

Many folks who grew up watching wrestling in the 1990s will remember this man as El Gigante in WCW and later Giant Gonzalez in the WWF. Gonzalez was the tallest wrestler ever at a legit 7'6". He was just 44 years old. May the big guy rest in peace.

I was shocked how big this guy was when he made his debut. He towered over The Undertaker. Wish he had a more sucessful wrestling career.

I never did get the air-brushed muscle, fur suit. One of the hokiest looks in pro wrestling history, in my opinion. Of course, I say this not trying to belittle the man in passing. I understand that he spent his remaining years in a wheelchair, suffering from kidney failure.
