Hi,
i just found out that tickletown had to get rid of their mainstream archive because they got busted by copyright.
So i was just wondering how sites like the TMF and the HITW gang can post mainstream stuff and get away with it.
Not that im complaining, i was really dissapointed about tickletown.

As I understand it, clips of mainstream stuff may be shared free of charge. I believe it's simply the fact that membership sites involve the almighty dollar that raised the issue.

I agree with Ann. I believe the issue is with pay-sites that charge to download materials, basically paying someone else for anothers work.

Free sites Im not aware have that problem.

If copyrighted work was being posted there they should have gotten busted.Thats why its not allowed here.I dont work for free,and producers are trying to make a buck also.
