A Japanese restaurant located in Pioneer Square of Seattle, WA now serves sushi with a most *creative* of presentations...

As reported in The Seattle Times, dated Tuesday, November 11, 2003:

"A nearly naked woman is laid out on a table. A chef slices sushi behind her, to be arrayed on her torso, bare except for a sheath of plastic wrap and some decorative flower petals, strategically placed. Chopsticks at the ready (crydun, are you paying attention 😀 ), patrons line up."

I can only imagine the tempting possibilities and delectable opportunities! Hey, I'm part Asian... I wonder if they're hiring? LOL

I was listening to a radio program about this today and apparently there are some groups pitching a huge hissy fit over this. There is talk about boycotting the restaurant and such nonsense.

Don't you know how they are taking advantage of these poor women??? 🙄I was listening to the bit thinking that you probably couldn't get paid enough to be a human plate unles there was something about the expereince that you realllllllly liked.

Chopsticks tickle by the way!

Trust me, I did hear all about those awareness groups that were in an uproar over the exploitation of women (that's why the story made news in the first place) Yak Yak Yak My humble opinion only, but they just need to lighten up and/or take a valium. I'm sure there may be exceptions (aren't there always?), but these women choose to do this and appear to be very well taken care of.

Boycott the restaurant? What a joke -- I actually called to try and make reservations... they're totally booked through next weekend LOL

You never did address my question... can you just imagine the (harmless, non-politically correct) fun you could have? heh heh heh

I'd just wait till they go to collect the sushi grab one of the chefs, tie him up, put him on the truck, go in with my eyes manipulated so that they look asian...and...during the placing of the sushi i'd let the chopstick "slip" down enough that is glides over her thigh, or maybe a quick jab in the side...
