Alright. I'm just wondering how many of the people on here actually grew up listening to rap/hip hop. The previous question doesn't seem to have a viable fanbase on this website to respond to the question posed by navltklr. My knowledge goes back pretty far, but for the common folks (which I suspect visit this board) this genre of music wasn't listened to very much before the mid nineties, or was SEVERELY limited to whatever came on the radio or MTV from time to time.
