aww thanks.. .. just and FYI.. have an apt on Wednesday with a Pain Specialist/Anesthesiologist who is also the Medical Director of the Pain Clinic.
With all the advancements in spinal treatments they do at the pain clinic and working with the neuro-surgeon, I see a light at the end of the tunnel..God is good..

Just a FYI.. Apt went well today.. had an epidural in cervical region included steriods to reduce the inflammation. GO back in 2 weeks for the next round and nerve blocks.. I am feeling ok - a little sleepy from the sedation meds in IV . Pain in down to a 8 now but I am numb yet from procedure. The extreme burning is down to a dripp instead of a pouring flow.

I am doing better this morning, yesterday was ruff once the sedation wore off 3 hr later, I am stiff from sleeping on the couch-could not sleep in bed lastnight tossed and turned too much. Made ice packs my best freind. I am doing better this morning 50%, hubby says external site is still swollen and will be sore internally for at least a week per The docs. But they did put long needles into disc that are bulldging/dissolving and in horrible condition

I am relieved and I am really glad to hear that you are doing much better today. That is always good to hear. Sorry that yesterday was rough for you since the sedation wore off-that had to be really tough. I can't imagine how terrible that must have been once sedation wore off-the numbing wore off. OUCH!!!! Really sorry to hear that you are feeling soooo stiff from sleeping on the couch. Sorry you had to end up sleeping on the couch; since you had been tossing and turing soooo much, that could not have been good. That had to be torture!!! You had to sleep terrible I imagine. Really sorry to hear that dimpletoes. That sucks big time. I couldn't imagine what that must have been like for you.

I am glad you were able to make ice packs your best friend; sure that had to help the problem some at least; hopefully it provided a little bit of numbing and taking away and relieving the pain a lot I hope.

It is good that this morning you are 50% better; real sorry to hear that the external site is still sooo swollen and still will be internally sore for least a week. That is terrible to hear. Man it just sounds absolutely scary and absolutely not good and horrible to be honest dimpletoes; really hope the pain leaves you soon-that must be awful.

May God be with you and send speedy physical complete over all recovery and heal you physically and may He give you peace of mind emotionally and calm your fears and anxieties you must be feeling strongly at this present time.
Just know you will be in my thoughts and prayers and also close to heart. Hope everything goes smoothly and gets lots better for you and surgeries so smooth and terrific for you.

Just wondering how are you doing? Are you still in real terrible excruciating pain dimpletoes? I sure hope not. I would not wish to hear or see that. Hate to see anyone in pain. It is good to hear that you were able to make it to MTP-congrats on making it to MTP. Just be careful and take it easy at MTP-wouldn't want to see or hear you feeling even more pain or getting any more hurt-then current pain you already are experiencing. Best wishes and luck w that.
Take care and hope you are able to have a good time at MTP-that would be good-help you relax and forget your pain and troubles for a little while at least-everyone needs that, needs a vacation sometimes. Peace to you and have a good day.

That is good that you are still planning on going to MTP, like I said that is good, nice, great-everyone needs ways to relax and unwind and de-stress from life's pressures and life's stresses and aggravations. Everyone needs downtime and relaxation time, nothing wrong with that. I did not say that to dissway you from going to MTP.
I am just saying; be careful and take it easy-always a good thing to do no matter what-whether hurt or feeling pain or not feeling pain and feeling great-always a safe good measure to follow especially when feeling pain-that is all I meant. It is good you are going to MTP.

Well I am glad you replied and glad to hear that you are going to take it easy and I am glad to hear that you are going to visit friends and people while there-taking it laid back, good to hear. Like I said would not want to be in more pain that you already are-like I said would not want that for no one-hate to see anyone in great pain.

Good luck with the second round of steroid epidurals dimpletoes; can't blame ya I would not be looking forward to those myself, hate needles, scare me badly.😱😱😱 I would want to dodge that myself if I could help it, if it could be helped. But know it can't be helped in your case. Hope the steroid epidurals help greatly to lessen and take your pain away-hate to see you in great pain at a gathering-that would suck badly. Hope it goes alright and things go smoothly for you w doctor appointments, steroid epidurals, later procedures of the surgeries and just in general-hope things go good and smooth for you-w no glitches.

You are welcome. Just comes natural for me hate seeing others and seeing people in great pain-feeling worry and concern comes natural-second nature, can't stop or change that-part of who I am. Went back to specialist today, had another cervical steriod/pain med epidural also a Occipital nerve block. I choose to do these procedure's without sedation this time. Did receive recent MRI results which showed significant degenerative changes since the one done last year. I wont give all the results just a little bit , the stenosis has slighlty worsened throught the entire cervical region and at C5-C6 there is mild to moderate spinal cord impingement with out edema and impingement of exiting left C6 nerve root. At least finally have proff to justify surgery and for my symptoms.
If this second procedure does not significantly improve pain level, we will go to the next level. It was recommended to me that I go see a neurosurgeon for consult, no more putting off surgery. Time to bite the bullet. I may not be online for a few days, at least tonight, time to go make ice packs my best friend. Those who know how to contact me by phone may do so if you like..

thanks sweety.. I am doing ok this morning after sleeping 12 hrs lastnight.. I was wipped.. feel as if I was hit by a car.. will feel that way for 2-3 days like last time.. it is normal. It still amazes me how this is not just a chat/forum site but a family/freinds who look out for eachother and are there for support. Yesterday got a call from a dear freind whom I have not talked to in several weeks who read I was going thru this and just had to rub in that they were packing for a shooting event.. grrrrrrrrrrr I want to go.. not fair.. I cant go to the gun range right now.. poutssssssss
