"My, my, I'm rather astounded at how stealthy you are, my little elven thief, in getting so far into my lair. I know your race has a knack for such quiet movements but I'm amazed at how silent your footfalls must have been, alerting none of my acolytes. You even avoided detection of most of my wards...you were only found out by the tiniest wisp of wind..."

"...I must know more. Your people have almost an ethereal step, but there's no way you could be THAT quiet. There must be SOME magic at play here, and I have to learn more about it. Hm...your bare footsteps could be the source...let us see if the silence that accompanies each tender sole is linked to your stealth otherwise...I'll start with these to 'experiment' with whatever magic MUST be there..."

Oh look, it's Kelyn. Been awhile, Kelyn. 🙁

More of a case where a pose comes to mind and is drawn, then a minor story (to explain the typical 'magic feathers') is formed around it. Bondage and tickling for the sneaky vampiric-ish elf.

Great drawing! :feets: I love the details on her soles.
Fine work, Khali! :woman:

Milagros:
As always, thanks for putting an effort in appreciating my work. ^^

This whole picture is very cute. The look on Kelyn's face, the coloring, the 'magical' feathers, it's really awesome.

Where to even start. Dunno, I'll just list things as I go, I guess:

I love the eyes, they're so interesting but I don't know why. I also really love the ears and how they sort of wilt. The nose seems a bit flat -- maybe a touch of shading there? theres some there though so I'm not sure. I enjoy the detail on the gag and her smile but the overall composure of the face doesn't really make me feel like she's being tickled, it almost seems too smile for the photograph if that makes sense. Her hair is amazing and I really, really enjoy it: the layers, the colors, the slightly messy yet still contained. It looks fairly real. I especially like how her breasts are kind of pushed into the ground because it gives the image weight.

The detail to the hands is simple yet wonderful, the slight amount of restraint and pain shown there is lovely. The character's muscles are well defined through your use of coloring and the actual character looks great. I'm a bit mixed on that because while I don't particularly care for the outfit, I think it's utilized well here to show off her muscle toning, so well done. I am, however, slightly confused about the wrap around her right calf? Not sure why that's there but it's a cool touch of character.

I like the bondage and I love the wisps of air the feathers leave behind. Personally Im not a big fan of disembodied feathers/hands/whatever but they look great here, the contrast between their color and the other colors in the image is great.

Now, your detail in the feet is what has always drawn me to your images because that is always always always excellent, they're so amazingly crafted and have so much character. Like the face and some other portions of the body, though, I don't get the impression that she is actually ticklish or being tickled by the acts; there's a certain lack of contortion. Also as a personal preference, the coloring between the ball/side of the foot there and the arch might be a little too extreme, at least for my tastes. There are feet that do look like that, and perhaps they're your preference so if so you can completely ignore me haha, but I like smoother feet that aren't as necessarily defined in their individual parts and I've found that a fair amount look more like that. Don't listen to me though, youre far more of an expert in art than I am and I really like your stuff.

And then I zoomed in and saw the water under her eyes. Man, the longer I look at this the more detail I notice. There's always a lot of love put into your images and thats why I really love them. Like, don't take my --minor-- criticisms to heart, your stuff is great and I've always enjoyed seeing it haha.

*The edit -- I did forget to say that the background is sort of a cop out, just a colored background with a line in it =p. It sort of takes away from the overall, but well, your focus is on the person and not the atmosphere so it's fine. I --really-- love the pic in your signature btw. Always a joy to see your posts because of it haha.

Thanks as always.

ELFewja:
First off, thanks very much for such an extensive bit of feedback there. I very much appreciate (and can use) this sort of reply, more often. ^^

Let's see, I'll try to go bit by bit...I will start out with the edit part, yeah, the background's a cop out. This was really a case where I more or less was just focused on a pose and relevant positioning when I was planning/drawing and really wasn't concerned with a scene around it. The little 'story' was more or less tacked on as well, so I figured just a generic though colorful bit of gradient (and very minor shadow) was enough to give it a little 'magic' theme at least around her. This also applies to the floating feathers (although the contrast with them...glowy/colorful vs Kelyn's gothy tones...was deliberate).

Face, yep, the ears are drooping as she cutely realizes she's in for it. I'm in total agreement on the nose: I've noticed myself screwing up the shading on it (as you said, there is minor shading, just not enough) on the past couple of color pics I've released, will have to work on that.
As for the mouth, I agree as well. Plot-wise though, despite the tears (more later on those), Kelyn's just starting to crack up at this point, so the smile is meant to show her mouth just opened (and the gag tightened in it) to start laughing.

Let's see...muscles/hands, check. Breasts, yep, this is a bit of a scene where there's clearly a little pain going on, including her being atop her chest.
Outfit, heh, it's a bit hard to describe her look honestly. Wild/foresty elf with a goth flair who is a thief-type...has a tendency for some (admittedly hot) black cloths and leathers with plenty of skin. I never seem to draw her top just the same though. The ribbons/cloths swirled about her limbs are just some asymmetrical flair she's always had in her design. I do every now and then consider revision to her look, as an aside.

Feet...agreed on the 'motion' being a bit muted, although I'd say her right (our left) foot is splaying a bit. Again though, this is very early on in the 'session', where she's just beginning to lose it, so there'd be more contortion to come. 🙂 As for the color detail on the soles, eh, I suppose it's something I do a little too much of at times (too much 'musculature'/curve details...or wrinkles) and probably in this case I should've lowered the detail since it's more to the 'back'. I'll see next time if I can be a bit smoother (if applicable to pose).

Heh, there's also a few drops of sweat here and there (in regards to the tears at her eyes), they're just hard to see due to her pale skin. 😛

Again, thanks very much for a detailed look at this one. It really helps, seriously. ^^

Oh, don't take the foot thing too hard. It's iconic to you and that's one of the reasons I like your work so much, you know?

Yeah if it's early in the session a lot of my niche statements make sense, then. I'll retract them =p. It is just feathers after all.

I do dig the outfit the more I look at this. I actually would say it's a strength if you don't do her costume the same all the time. We don't wear our clothes the same way all the time, and there are small details that are slightly different each time so that's actually a really cool bit of detail you pointed out.

When you talk about the way she's smiling and why I can totally see it and it does actually work. So that was my personal interpretation telling onto the piece.

Heh, I opened it and appreciated it more again. I just like all the little details here and there =p.

Oh the story is cute by the way, I didn't comment on it because it wasn't really my focus. It's just flavor text so I glossed over it but I like how it has a lightly foreboding air yet whimsical and light nature. Hard to capture.

ElFewja:
Again, I like hearing feedback/critique like that. It helps me out a bunch. ^^
