I think the neuron tree is the leader still, but like I said before, if there were some way to alter it so it were more tickling specific as opposed to sensation specific, it would be perfect. I recognize that we can impose whatever meaning we want... but that's too easy. I'd personally like the symbol to have inherent meaning, if we can manage it.
I remain in lack of understanding here, I figured the curves (especially the one at the top) were hinting smiles and laughter, im not sure how else to alter something which I feel is complete, adding things to simplicity ruins it, over and over again.
I think if it isnt displaying the message, then it isnt a strong leader at all.
But my thoughts on the thing are from another angle, Tickling will be what it means, once that is decided then that is how it is, the important thing visually is that there is a reason WHY it means tickling.
I dont think its possible to create something relevant to all that literally screams tickling without simply displaying a picture of tickling which even in its simplest form is too obvious and too easy and thus..not very symbolic, the BDSM symbol doesnt scream BDSM either, but its valid because of the reasoning behind it, and to those who recognize it, it will scream BDSM because people as what it is.
Another example, the letter T only screams the letter T because youve been told all your life that it is a T and that is sounds like T and so it is T and thats what it looks like and when you see it you think T. not a great example but a relevant way to get across what im attempting to say
😛
To critisize my own design, the only thing I would say is missing, is that it can appear a vet shart image, it would be nice if the circles were more obvious so that there was a softer side to it, Im not sure how valid that is because there are as many curves as there are sharp edges so I may just be reading into it too much.
Tis just my opinion tho
