If you only had one dinner left (like a last meal) and you could have whatever you wanted what would it be? I would choose terryaki steak with a baked potato on the side with ceasar salad and strawverry cheeescake for desert

Oysters on the half shell for an appetizer, a pasta course of linguini with white clam sauce, rack of lamb for the main course, and chocolate mousse pie with whipped cream on top for dessert. 😀

Difficult choice... I'd have to decide between a six-course gourmet dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant (the oldest in Germany), or something typically Bavarian.

Italian: Bresàola (air-dried extremely thin-sliced beef), Spaghetti Vongole, passion fruit sorbet, then either venison or my favorite Fègato Veneziano (liver in onion/red wine sauce) with Polenta and a salad with Balsamico and walnuts, a small cheese platter with fruit, an espresso and Amaretto, and a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino red wine. :slurp:

Or Bavarian (oh God, that's so difficult to translate): "Aufgschmoizne Brodsuppn" (strong beef broth with browned onions and bread chunks), "Schweinshaxn" (crusty grilled pork leg which gets constantly coated with dark beer) with bread dumplings, and Bavarian style potato salad and coleslaw (without mayonnaise or cream), an Apple strudel as dessert, several Wheat Beers to drink, and a large Obstler (clear fruit schnaps) to digest. :burp: (Who worries about the zillion calories and the cholesterol hitting the roof if it's your last meal anyway!)

Okay, now you did it! I'm hungry at 3am local time! :grumble: 😛

Tough Choice:

I am having a hard time choosing between Italian food at my favorite Italian restaurant or an all American Steak dinner.

Here are the variations

At the Italian restaurant, I would start off with a bowl of pasta figoli, then I would dig into an antipasto salad. I will then have a pasta dish followed by a main entree of bricolli (sp). I will them top it off with a serving of THEIR terimisu.

If I were going to go the steak route. I wouild start off with a bowl of French onion soup, then I would order a six pound teriayki steak with a baked potato smothered with butter and cheddar cheese and creamed spinach. I would wash it down with lots of Sierra Nevada beer (Celebration Ale.. Thanks Drew hehe). For desert I would have a
large piece of triple layer choclate cake.

Then, I would need the rest of my life to get my chlestoral back down to where it was.

pasta and lots of it with my father's sauce, a huge piece of chocolate cake,ben and jerry's ice cream,onion rings,french fries...egg salad(the way i make it)...macaroni salad,potato salad,pizza,wings,green chile stew,pepsi and kraft macaroni and cheese(if this is gonna be my last meal i want it to last awhile😉 )

scallops wrapped in bacon for an appetizer; baked stuffed lobster w/ a root beer floar (with choclate iced cream in it), seasoned curly fries, mashed potatoes w/ melted cheese on them, and bread! Lots and lots of bread!! For dessert.....a chocolate krispy kream doughnut- make that 4 😉

well my last meal aaahhhh...... well i would start off with a ceaser salad, then i would have a 16 oz top serloin steak, with a baked potatoe with all the fixens, for dessert i would have a dutch apple pie a'la modewith a cup of fresh coffee with baylies irish cream in it. i think that would do me just fine.

Fresh Lobster (and lots of it!) with Alaskan King Crab legs, a juicy steak with sauteed onions and mushrooms on top and a caesar salad...mmmmmmmm! 😀 Dessert? Not much of a dessert eater, but I think I'd like a slice of cherry cheesecake 😀

I would order one huge, monstrous dinner from Sonny's Barbecue, one that would take me at least an hour to devour...barbecue pork and chicken, all the sides! 😎
For dessert, I'd have something that I had a long time ago the first time I ever visited the States. I'd have a Reese's peanut butter cup sundae from Friendly's. I'll die with a bloody smile on my face if it kills me. 😱

Pizza with LOTS of white cheddar, blue cheese and feta, salami, pepperoni, or ANYTHING my dear old Sicilian grandma made from scratch (which was everything!)
