Laughing Gas?

This is a question for anyboyd who has been exposed to laughing gas, aka Nitros Oxide. I'm writing a story, and i'm curious is anybody could describe what it's like to be under the gas.

Ahhh, nitrous oxide! The ever popular "Whip-hits", as they where known. Nothing compared to the big hits of nitrous given you by the dentist, but it did make me giggle for a few seconds, with a bit of a head rush.

It has an analgesic affect...will blunt any tickling you do.
FYI, Gig is a DDS.

There was a thread on this a couple of years ago and I came out strongly against the use of N-O-2 in real life tickling.

The database disaster last year disconnected my posts from my ID so I can't find it (there's a search facility hear on the TMF main page; kinda crude for finding something like "laugh" here on the TMF).

Anyway, as Gig indicated, it will "blunt" tickling.

Let me reiterate from my earlier post two years ago.

If you have the most ticklish thin skinned sole perfectly tied and you have an assortment of 7 perfect tickling and teasing feathers; and you allow that 'Lee to ingest enough N-O-2, believe this: she won't even smirk no matter how skilled of a 'Ler you are.

Of course, writing a story you can do what you want, but it makes the entire story much less believable.

Are whippets filled with the same gas? Does a
dentist have oxygen mixed in with laughing gas?

Hmm...

I'm looking for something that would cause a high level of euphoria (spelling?) but not numb the senses. I guess something that would make you feel really stoned, lol, it's been a while since i've done it but basically thats what i'm looking for.

Dentists mix oxygen with the N2O.
Whippits are pure N2O .
The quick high/lightheadedness from whippits is due to a transient asphyxiation caused by lack of oxygen (You are breathing pure N2O)
as soon as you exhale the whippit and inhale air the Oxygen levels return to normal and the "high" is instantly gone.
