I'll admit I was disappointed at first when I bought this...I remembered (vividly) that I had some of these pictures already in my collection of TFTA mags.
But then I realized something: in the TFTA mags, there were often fragments of text accompaning each picture and I always wondered what it meant. Now when I look at Laughing Pines, I saw that the magazine was the final and complete version of what he'd probably been trying to create all those years. For the first time, the entire book of Laughing Pines was complete, restored, and annotated the way we were supposed to see it.
Now I look at it and my $13.99 misery is replaced with elation as the completist in me has the bone-a-fide 100% complete version of the artist's vision. It's like getting Kind of Blue re-released digitally remastered and finally recorded in its correct key (as it had been for decades), and realizing that hearing/seeing the old favorites in the new way makes it even better than before.
And I can understand the disappointment or lowered expectations. I agree that criticism can be harsh and hard to take. And despite my affinity, I believe that a few of the things said were well founded. The way I see it though, is that for the first time, we're able to get his old print publications in e-form and not all of them can be masterpieces.
But that's no need to get so bitter about it that you lambast a man of BACs calibre so viciously when he's just now come back and hasn't gotten back into the swing of things. Y'know, if that kind of attitude were expressed so vividly each time, it might give him the idea that people don't appreciate him AND HE MIGHT DECIDE TO DISAPPEAR FOR ANOTHER TEN FUCKING YEARS! THEN WHAT'LL WE HAVE?!
I for one am willing to let this slide as I see it as a simple page in a catalogue that we need to see all the way to fully appreciate.

I thought this BAC comic was wonderful.
It is sooooo amazing to have new work from the undisputed master of the tickle comic!!!!! The first pics I ever saw on the net were BAC, and I never thought I would see new work posted - and here it is.

Hi BAC! Congratulation for your last comic...it's wonderfull! 
I have a question: at the bottom of your posts appear something like a preview that shows a few laughing females...I don't know the last one on the right. Where does it come from? I belive to have all your artwork (almost) but the last one on the right does not recall me anything.

I do believe that was the artwork for a story in a magazine called Leg Show back in 1995 or 1996

Only reason I remember it,is because it's one of the few times Leg Show had any tickling in it
