Law Saves Tickling

Tickling is not necessarily assault. It furthers well-being (particularly among kids) and is not illegal.

That's what the local court of Prüm (Eifel) decided; they refused a claim for damage from the parents of a girl who had hurt herself while being tickled by a classmate. The parents had demanded a compensation for personal suffering, amounting to 3500 € (about 4700 $), as the journal "New Weekly Law" reports in their latest issue.

But the claim was negated in court: Neither the classmate nor her parents can be held responsible before the law.

This is a nation where you cannot just be there and live - you HAVE to have some sort of a job. (Imagine that here! Wow what a change that would make! A legislated 100% employment rate!).

I wish you were right, but you aren't. The average unemployment rate is over 10%, in some regions almost 30%!
