Yes, asutickler, we all know global warming is a big myth... so are the ozone hole over Antarctica, landfill breaches, oil spills, evolution, and gravity.. we never landed on the moon either.... There might be an awful lot of evidence to support all of these things, but that couldn't possibly mean that they are true...

I never said that global warming is a "big myth." I wasn't, in fact, referring to global warming at all. My comments were in reference to the alleged "Pentagon Report" that was the basis for the article that started this thread, and have nothing to do with my opinion on the subject of global warming.

Nah. For the record, I think global warming is a valid but as yet unproven theory that warrants further study due to its obvious potential ramifications for the planet. While I support basic precautionary measures aimed at reducing global warming, I am unwilling to endorse any drastic, economically damaging measures until the theory of global warming and the root causes of the same are fully proven.
