You know, I essentially grew up watching Lindsay Lohan's career from it's earliest stages to the height of it's career to her massive downfall. She is only two years older than me so it's easy to relate and try to understand her. But over the past few years, since she wrapped up making "Mean Girls," her career has been a downward spiral from hell. She has drug issues, alcohol issues, she cannot keep a steady relationship, her family troubles are insane, and she just cannot go ANYWHERE without being bombarded by paparazzi.

I feel sorry for her, in essentially that her father is insane, and her mother is just as loco. I know Lindsay has basically dug her own grave with all these problems, but after her f*cked up childhood, I feel empathy for her.

Anyway 90 days in jail, away from drugs, alcohol, the Hollywood night life, her family, and the paparazzi will maybe just mellow her out!

I do too Perse. She needed an adult around when she was young that cared about her. She is a talented actress, just a person that does not love herself in the slightest. Sadly, It happens a lot and not just in Hollywood.

I saw a bit of a video of her in court. She was turning on the waterworks. Her expression and reaction didn't seem real at all, until she was sentenced, then she did actuallly look upset, instead of pretending to. But more upset like a child throwing a tantrum cause they had to go to time out.

Yep! Now we wait and see if she ends up the same as Paris Hilton and cries herself into house arrest.

Perhaps so she may then be treated in a spacious, specially equipped, luxurious dungeon therapy facility where you and Texastickler may administer much-needed corporal discipline? 😉

But seriously, she's probably not in danger (I won't assume totally, however) since she's so famous, but it's ridiculous that our prisons are
nightmares of arbitrary abuse in themselves ---- better than most of the world's, but not nearly humane enough.

No one should automatically have to worry about being raped & getting AIDs
because they've been sent to jail to learn crime doesn't pay & all that...
That obviously shouldn't be part of the jail sentence in a civilized society, we don't have enough positive control over our prison system by far.

Expecting AIDS alone, from any jail time for any crime, is expecting a slow death sentence, that's obviously crazy.

If Lohan is thinking that's at all a possibility, yeah, she wasn't acting when she was sentenced.
Actually, considering her behavior recently, she might be worried others could take advantage & she wouldn't be believed. 🙁

Yeah, showing up to court with F.U. on your nails and then claiming it was just something you and your friend did for fun...........

Missing nine A.A. classes? Come on. Us "regular" folks would have been tossed in jail a lot earlier than she had to go. She does need help before it's too late.

And yeah, the waterworks performance didn't work for me either. She looked like a brat that finally got punished. I don't think that 90 days in jail is going to help her addiction any but at least it'll give her a few months to be away from her group of "friends."

What boggles my mind that is supposedly she works....oh pardon me "worked" with children lol, and with that said what professional who works with kids, no matter what age group would get the F word on their finger nails? I work with kids and never in my right or wrong mind would I even subconsciously consider doing something as nonsensical as that. So I just hope that they actually make her stay in for the time she was sentenced and not like a week, because she really needs to be accountable for her actions and take it like a man, uh woman...you know what I mean 🙂.

I read somewhere that Lindsay's little fingernail display in court, supposedly antagonized the judge further, and might well land her a comtempt charge on top of all her other problems, and a doubled sentence in jail, which would mean she would be locked up for six months, instead of 90 days.

What a sad, sad, girl. She was so cute in The Parent Trap, and seemed to have a bright future ahead of her. Now, she just seems like so many other Hollywood fuck ups, who attained maybe too much success at too early an age, let it get to her head, and self destructed.
