Logic to openly liking feet (well I think)

Ok something else that has gotten to me. That is the fact the foot fetish or people who just like feet get a bad rep sometimes. Now I know we all had conversations with people about what physically attracts us to one another either it be boy or girl. And it is for me that you have on or you don't it is as simple as that. Know I am gonna speak from a male view or from my P.O.V. That you will usaully hear "oh she has to have a big ass or nice breast and cute face". Not all guys but you get the point. I am saying that truthfully what attracts me to a girls is a nice smile but mostly she has too or it is nice if she has pretty feet. Now the whole point of this thread is that by saying something like that, why is it already subject to ridicule and seen to be nasty. Cause sadly there are alot of people who despise feet which is kinda ironic seeing as they walk on them. Any thoughts.

Ah. The age old question. You want to know the real answer? Because it's out of the norm. It's normal to like T&A. Even legs. But feet, though it has become pretty mainstream, is still not accepted by society. It's considered an eccentricity and well, society is very well kown for shunning those who are different. As to why it has to be this way.... I don't know. Maybe it's because of the media, you hear and read the news about someone who couldn't control their urges. Maybe it's because statistics show that most serial killers have a shoe fetish. Though that's different, it's similarities make them associate it with foot fetishist. Maybe it's because a good majority of people don't take care of their feet like they should and it's an automatic turn-off. What ever the reason is, I couldn't tell you. It may be one of those, it may not be. I'm only 25, and I've seen and heard just about every derogatory thing you can say about a person with a foot fetish. I've gotten so it doesn't even hurt my feelings anymore. It may not always be this way. But I just prefer to not deal with ignorant people. I mean really. What is so bad about feet? If you want to get technical. The mouth is one of the nastiest things on your body, filled with all kinds of germs and bacteria, but we still kiss, and drink/eat after each other with no problem. Yeah feet can be pretty nasty if they're not taken care of, but so can any other part of the body. If it's presentable, what wrong with liking it? But, people don't see it that way. It's part of the reason why I've never explored my fetish. The furthest I've ever gone is ask for pictures. I've had a slight stroke of luck in that department a few years back. But yeah, the whole thing is just messed up. But you know what.... that's why places like the TMF exist, so you at least be around people who can relate to you and can be understanding. Bottom line is, there just aren't enough people who have open mindedness.

A number of the foot people that have openly shown a foot fetish have done so in a bad, obsessive way. So it makes it seem like all of you are obsessed. And it doesn't help with the way some foot people behave here either, PMing females about feet and complaining when someone isn't tickled on their feet.

You wanna change that, make sure you show that you aren't like those.

Aight look. Maybe you're misunderstanding me and thinking that I'm saying those people aren't wrong for what they've done. I'm not. They're definitively wrong. But what I'm trying to say, is liking feet is out of the norm. That is the main reason we get a bad rep. For instance: A majority of men, like breast, legs and butts. That's the norm. Many men have made plenty bad moves like trying to cop a feel, and have done much much worse things. One person will go and try to grab a hooter's girls behind without consent. The guy is an buttwipe. He gets labeled a perv and what ever other name you can come up with. He deserves it. A guy will kidnap a woman and do things to her breasts and what ever else. The guy goes to jail you hear and read about it. He's called this that and the other. Good. He deserves it. He deserves wrse. But... the people who are into breasts, will not suffer because of this... the people who like legs, and butts will not take a hit as a community because of this. Because like I said. T&A are in the norm. But, you get some guy who's into feet and goes overboard. Yes the guy deserves what he gets, but because liking feet is out of the norm.... we take a hit as a community. So when he gets labeled, we're all labeled that way. It's the way society works bud. Yeah, stereotypes are everywhere, and there's one for everyone. When a woman does something. All women take a hit, when a black man does something. All black men take a hit, but it's a well known fact that if a person from a group of people out of the norm does something. It takes a hit twice as hard. And it isn't fair, but it's just the way it is.

Couldn't be more right. It's a self correcting thing, too. It's seen as weird because there are a lot of weird people who are exclusively into peoples feet. Then the non-weird people downplay it, because of the negative connotation from the weird people, leaving fewer 'normal' people who are into it.

The other thing to think of is, how open do you expect people to be? It's somewhat rude to stare at some girls breasts while in public, as much as I might like them. How are peoples feet any different?

Yes, liking feet is 'out of the ordinary'. That's common knowledge. But it's not just that, it's probably that many don't think of the feet as capable of being a sexual body part. Most see it as more of a utility. And really, you can't blame them. I mean it IS the part of the body that you walk on. <_<

I've got a foot fetish and I don't get a bad rap. Some people might make the odd sarky comment if they find out and some women find it a bit strange, but on the whole it's not something that brings pitchforck-wielding mobs to my door or prevents me from getting into relationships with women. I think that has something to do with my being a reasonably normal person with a fetish rather than an obsessive weirdo for whom the fetish has become all-consuming. but I'm just speculating. Then there are the people who become caught up with the persecution complex that comes with being a fetishist (and being self-hating masochists, a triggering factor for foot fetishes if some sources are to be believed), to the extent that the persecution complex itself becomes part of the fetish. Look up tyler_d's threads for examples.

As already stated, its not "normal"
You can argue the physical sense of it being dirty cuz yer walking on them all day. Plus the misconception of how nasty feet are(fungus\athletes foot, etc)
That misconception gets built up too by viewing of it such as someone smelling someone when they take their shoes off or how bad socks may smell, etc etc


It is what it is. Some people think feet are ok, some think they are gross, and some dont care

I still say that scat is a hell of alot grosser than feet, which i get generally accepting responses
