Stump the Band

A move about a guy with foot fetish who attacks girls feet.
I have spoken with the maker and he is open to us, and maybe doing a part II with better foot fetish content, AND FOOT TICKLING.

I IMPLORE you all to email him and encourage him.

Nuff said.

We ARE powerful if we use our numbers to "vote."

Make your presence known and hit him, Stern, etc. and we shall shift things. If they know we are shere, they will supply to our demand. Capatilism 101.

Unfortunately, the trailer implies that the foot fetishist is fond of chopping off women's feet with an axe. Not the image I would like to see out there.

hmmmm...... Perhaps its just me, but I would prefer to nibble and lick womens feet rather than chop them off with an axe. :ermm:

Now I know what they are referencing to when they say "STUMP".
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Rob

Interesting. I don't care how violent or bad it is as long as it has some good foot shots.

Not the kind of thing we need to support or encourage i think...

Ditto on what everyone else said.

We don't need that kind of attention supporting what basically amounts to low-key snuff.

Not me at all , but Maybe if he attacks and tickles them with a chainsaw of feathers. It's kind of brutal in a fun way :Hyrdrogen

Read your comment and really THINK about what you just said.
Man, please don't let a sexual fetish push you over the line.

And THAT would make people more understanding of foot fetishists? A guy molesting and assaulting women's feet as he pleases?

People Relax. It's only a movie, and from the looks of it not a very serious one at that.

Unfortunately, those who have no idea what foot fetishism is will have a false representation about us & think that ALL foot fetishists are homocidal manics.
You may not think this but the general population willl think this, mainly because that is what thety are exposed to.
In MY own humble opinion, I would NOT want this type of 'movie making' to represent me.
This kind of reminds me of the Ally McBeal episode with Barry Miller titled 'Happy Birthday Baby'. Season 1, Episode 19.
Synopsis -
First aired: 4/6/1998.
Ally is in denial about her birthday but her co-workers aren't. Elaine orchestrates a party at the bar and asks Dr. Greg Butters to sing a romantic ballad dedicated to Ally. He does, and knocks the socks off everyone in the room. Renee is especially moved, and jumps up on stage to join him in a seductive duet. Meanwhile, in the courtroom, Ally is forced to take the position for a new client that his foot fetish qualifies him as temporarily insane. Renee, as the opposing district attorney, maintains that sneaking into a would-be date's apartment uninvited to tickle her feet is breaking and entering.
Writer: David E. Kelley

It's THIS kind of BAD publicity that has non-fetish people think that we are ALL out of control.
& Mr Kelley is supposed to be one of us (So rumor has it)

OK; not a great idea....

Noooooooo...not good.

The thought is actually terrifying....

Right.
Because here's the real truth some of these asshats don't get. Those of us out there who've actively been recruiting members into the TMF community for years fight constantly against the worries that we're "a bunch of sicko pervs" especially when it comes to the women. You MUST make these ladies feel safe and secure if you want them to stay. The overtly nasty actions (be they violent or sexual) are scaring off people in droves. I field complaints all of the time over these idiots, I appreciate the trust the complaintants put in me for this, but it's put me in a position that really sucks.
XOXO

Bad. Badbadbad. Awful. I hope it tanks.

BAD publicity. Also, it looks amateurish and poorly cast.

Okay thought about it and I still feel the same way. I love violent flicks. After all its a way to explore the deepest darkest part of the human mind without anybody actually getting hurt. This movie ought to have some great foot shots. Maybe I'll rent it but I dont think I would go see it in theatres.

We need to be careful for sure, but we also need to look at what were saying. And I'm actually not speaking to the people who don't have a problem with the content of this film. I for one have written several stories that involve women being tickled without their consent, I know plenty of people create videos here that are so called "non consensual."

I understand what your saying TIB, but I remember a few videos you made that involve women being kidnapped and tickle tortured. Now they may be fake kidnappings, but this movie is also fake. Your videos have just as much potential of frightening people off, and giving people the wrong impression about us as this film does. And I for one enjoy your videos, and own a few.

Just like my stories. If we decide to condemn one movie just because it's different (and a horror flick I imagine) than we have to condemn everyone that makes us look bad. Including videos, images, and sadly stories. And that's a lot of condemning.

If someone see's this movie they'll think that foot fetishists are homicidal maniacs!

Have you guys heard about the movie the astronaut farmer? I had no idea every farmer was actually a mechanical genius that could build space ships.

Also according to a commercial I just saw, every black person in the world likes Pepsi.

Seriously, how about we remember that there are 2,000+ movies with homicidal maniacs that aren't foot fetishists and also pretend the worlds population aren't impressionable idiots.

Don't do it!

I totaly agree with Bart. A few months ago I posted a story about a C.S.I. episode where a guy would break into women's home's, drug them, tie them up, paint their toe nails and them rap them. It really made men with foot fetishes look like wacko's. Yes, I realize it was entertainment but it still rubbed me the wrong way...

Thanks for the heads up but I think everyone understands it's a movie.
🙂

Yes, but it seems like they are taking it very seriously. From the trailer, the movie does not seem very serious.

Somehow, I don't see "stump the band" breaking any box office records.

The point here is not that the movie should be banned or we should rise up and boycott it as a group....

The point is that we should do NOTHING...

The original post calls for emailing the "maimstream (meant to spell it that way)movie maker" and supporting him as a community....

I personally feel that people who email mainstream moviemakers and actresses and directors are just asking to be looked upon as freaks, stalkers, and perverts.....

It is very unwise to call attention to the community at large to those who would ridicule us......and lump us in with the freaks we are not....

So I still think the purpose of this thread to email this guy with support or suggestions or to ask for "foot shots" would be idiotic at best...

People are very leery when they receive unsolicited emails from someone saying they belong to a group such as this and we should err on the side of caution before writing one....lest we wish to be looked down upon...

I personally do not want to be associated with someone who would write in support for this type of movie, so when doing so, dont lump me in with the group.....

I can see the next news report already..... :disgust:

Get your stories published in a mainstream magazine or TIB's flicks released at the theater and we would probably have the same problem....

This movie does not target the same audience....so you are comparing apples to oranges here....

Stereotypes of all kinds that are thrown at us by mainstream producers are wrong and do nothing but create negative feelings towards the group portrayed... The general public makes a judgement on the group portrayed because of what they see....Not because of what they know first hand...

Does a lot more harm than good....
