Before I even get into something, I just want to comment that I know that the majority of people on this forum are not as immature as this one I had the displeasure of talking to one evening in the tmf chatroom. I just hope this might reach someone who does talk to females this way and realize it just scares them off from places that they should feel welcome and safe in. I changed the other person's selected name so as to keep his privacy intact, but I just wanted to state for the record that conversations like those copied below makes me at least feel *very* uneasy about going into the chatroom.

I'm grumpy and pmsing right now, so maybe that's half of why I'm posting this...but I felt very uncomfortable being ridiculed because I didn't want to give out my location to a stranger right off the bat.

Makes sense to me. One does have to be careful about giving out information that could potentially come back to haunt them (names, addresses, etc.). You never know for sure who's "lurking" out there. It surprises me that anybody might take issue with someone safeguarding personal information.

The inherent anonimity of the Internet lends itself quite well to the release of the pig in some folks, so I don't think there's any way to avoid it altogether. It sucks, but all you can do is ignore and move on. For every one of these morphodytes, there's two of us who are rather pleasant to talk to.😎
