Some get burned out, I'm sure, and some I think get run out. I remember Camp Tickle got taken off several times. This was back in the old AMT days when a certain someone was making life hel.... hard on all of us honest folks.

I've got so many of these things. Some I actually forgot I had until I started looking specifically for super hero ones.

the yahoo group used to updated every month, but it seems like it hasn't for quite some time. if my artistic skills extended beyond stick figures i would contribute.

No idea about the group. I left it after I saw repeated requests for the Power Puff Girls, even though they're preschoolers. I wasn't the only member who had a problem with the guy's request though.

I'm having fun sharing these things. So many I forgot I had.

Does anyone have a better copy of the Star Trek one I posted, BTW? I'd sure like to be able to read what the ladies are saying.

The first one was done by an inker friend of mine for Hahathna's LOST group. My colors. The second and the last one were by the same guy. The last one was for me. The original 11X17 piece has a personalization to me that I took out for the color version. The Second one we did together strictly for Ebay. We got $400.00 for that one. Not bad for a piece that was a little over 8 1/2 X 11.
The third one was another commission for the LOST group. My colors. The Batgirl/Joker piece was done for the LOST site.

Hahathna hasn't had much time to update the Yahoo group. He actually moved half way across the country when he had to switch jobs. with everyone sharing artwork files and a lot of people doing free art, A lot of people think we have stuff coming in all the time. Both Hahathna and I worked at one time or another in mainstream comics.
Even though we knew a lot of other artists, to get pro pieces it takes a lot of money. For instance, the green background piece with Huntress, Catwoman, and Black Cat, all tickling Wonder Woman originally cost me over $200.00. I pencil a little myself, but I'm mainly a colorist, so I've bought my share of art. Even close buddies in the business will charge. Most pro to pro deals are at a cut rate, but it's still a lot of money. Some guys that were charging say $200 for a piece, I might be able to get for say $100.00. The Ivy Wonder Woman cost me I think $75.00 as a friend price. Normally it would have been $150-200. And that was black and white. I normally colored any new piece that both he and I had coming in, but my time got limited and I had to spend more and more time on work that actually paid. At one point I was coloring 3 books a month at DC with specials thrown in, but it slowly dried up.
That's the main reason the group hasn't been updated in awhile. Both Hahathna's and my job situation changed and we simply ran out of money. I still work with some main stream artists, but it's been a long time since I've commissioned any artwork. I'm going to try to get back to drawing so I can get a new character launched in a new series. We'll see how that goes.
I hope that explains a lot about the LOST club. Hahathna deserves a lot of credit for the work he put in to make that site what it was and is.

I'm enjoying myself. Though I wish there were more Marvel ones. I've never been big on DC, no offense. The only character from DC I like is The Riddler - and since I'm not into male 'lees, I'd only really want a Riddler toon if he was tickling me. LOL

Ah - if only I could draw. *chuckles* I'd spend all day just drawing myself in all sorts of fantasy ticklish situations. Sadly, I wasn't given that talent. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler. Even my stick figures suck.

The group still exists... but it hasn't been updated in a long time and I pulled down almost all of the originals I had posted. First and foremost, I did it because I was growing tired of the constant criticism I was getting for not putting up enough */m artwork. I had no problem with people posting it to the group, and if I came across an illo, I'd put it up myself, but since I was spending a lot of money paying to have commission pieces done, I was going to get what I wanted... and I like seeing superheroines getting tickled. I enjoyed sharing the art, and would have spent the money whether the group existed or not, but after a while having a small but vocal group complaining about a "free lunch" kinda gets on the nerves. Second, I had a number of bad experiences with artists taking my money and delivering nothing in return which really started to turn me off the commission process. Finally. the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back" came when a guy started posting some of these illos on the TMF/Tickle Theater as part of his "private collection." Reposting doesn't bother me... if it did, I'd have never posted the images in the first place. For someone to put a label on them as part of a private collection, as if he did something more than just download them, then receive and accept other's gratitude for "sharing his wonderful collection" completely soured me to the whole thing. So I did the adult thing and took my ball and glove and went home. End of story.

Will I put the images back on-line and return the LoST club to its former glory? Probably not. I've toyed with the idea of setting up my own website to house the images, but time and money constraints are limiting factors, plus I know that the very things that caused me to pull down these images in the first place will always be around.

Gee, Ha, I hope you don't mind me posting them then. I'm just enjoying learning the history behind many of these things. Most I got either on AMT or from friends. Plus a few when I was on the LOST Yahoo group. It kind of makes them a little more special to know a bit about them. But if it bugs you I'll stop after this.

I remember the "golden Age" of LOSTH back in 2000-2001, I'm glad to know that BZTickler and Hahathna are still alive and well.
I remember the constant updates, especially the 2001 "12 days of Christmas", that, together with Dimmu borgir's Puritanical album were the highlights of the year.
I agree with Hahathna not continuing with the updates due to criticism - My mentality has always been - If you ain't contributing or payin' for it you got no right to demand nothing and there are some stubborn bigot people who want and demand everything and are rude and aggressive.

When BZ went to work with MTJ I thought "Crap! I'll miss his free work, but I am glad he'll get paid for doing what he loves" and about Hahathna well he started his lil' shrine and gave us "LA", by the way, I'm still waiting for "L Angels III" ... what's taking so long?

I would like to see art of Caterpie (of Dragon Ball (Z?) fame), tickling Wonder Woman or any of the other Female super set (hero or villian). That would be so cool. Even Warner Brother toon Tcikle-Puss (The old hillbilly who tickle "Injun Joe" in the porky pig cartoon) would be cool.

Um - you were saying that Wonder Woman was the sexiest. I was saying Storm is sexier then Wonder Woman. The boobs of Sue Storm weren't even part of what I was talking about.

This is it for me....

Since I can't be sure I didn't already post the first three, I shall end with this one. I'm throwing in an Elvira and one a young man from AMT drew of him tickling me. I'm not a super hero, but I've played a few in some RPGs. One of whom I gave the weakness of being super ticklish. It was the sure-fire way an enemy could over come her. If she was tickled she couldn't concentrate so she couldn't use her powers.

I'm utterly confused in this thread anymore anyway. Too much trying to contrinute toons I have and worrying they're repeats.

Wasn't her maiden name Storm? I can't remember. Anyway, it's Storm from the X-Men whom I think is way sexier then Wonder Woman.

I wonder if tickling her while she's in a small, enclosed area would help her cope with her clostriphobia. Distract her enough that she doesn't panic.

As far as I'm conserned Storm should make anybody's short list for Super-Babaes as lee's. WW, She-Hulk, and Storm should pretty much be in all our to 10's if not 5 (and they are my top 5 for sure.)
