According to the dude at Autozone, my alternator is pushing out about half the amps it's supposed to. 😡

Unless it's a blown fuse issue or corroded wire connections (I hope), then it means a new alternator. Or a rebuild.

Rebuild or new, either one means I won't be able to make it.

So, let's hope it's just a fuse or a connection. I should be ever so pissed to not make it at this point

I suppose I could, but it would be about as much as getting the alternator fixed. Anytime you drive out of state, the rate goes up. I really don't have that kind of budget available to me. Not if I want to get the van fixed, anyway.

Next time, I'm gonna get me a train reservation weeks ahead of time....
