My friend and soon-to-be occasional session partner Beth recently walked me through some AI image editing and creation techniques (she was editing images of photos I'd taken at her place during a recent session with her friend to remove background clutter so I could post them in the True Stories forum).
I hadn't paid a ton of attention to AI tickle content up until that point, but working with Beth led me to curiously poke around in the AI Creations forum here.
And I mean damn, there is some amazing stuff out there. I'm admittedly out of touch, but I had no idea capabilities had gotten to the point where almost-believable LOTR and DC characters, for instance, could be shown tickling around with each other so realistically.
At the same time, it occurred to me that despite the massive fantasy potential of this material, while I found it impressive and interesting, there was no zing. I mean, if I saw Liv Tyler getting tickled in the stocks by Cate Blanchett in real life, I might have a heart attack, but the hyper-realistic AI version gave me more of a "Huh, wow" reaction.
It's even more curious since I get at least little zing from seeing Olive Oyl or April O'Neil tickled in cartoons.
I don't know...has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts?
