Member advancements?

Without encouraging people to make stuff and thaanngs like Silly Blah Something threads * sternest voive possible for that line * I was wondering how an individual receives a title promotion? Who are you to deny me the Advanced Member title without telling how to achieve it!

It is entirely based on how many posts you have made, and I believe you are about 21 away from achieving said Advancement. It'll be here in no time, but please keep posting more!

Keep in mind the "Advanced Member" group is the only other advancement one can receive through posting, and is mainly there to encourage and reward forum interaction beyond the odd post (or complete lurkification, lol). The benefits for advanced members are increased private messaging space (goes up to 1000 total storage I believe) and access to the blog and photo gallery apps for user profiles. More benefits might be added in the future, depending on the direction the Theater takes in upgrading.

If I'm not mistaken your progress would be displayed if you deleted your "codename KND" tag line, it would show up there. Others feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

My name appears black in the "who's online" thing. So if I remove the status tag it'll just state im clearly not advanced lol Its no big deal, I was just curious

As Beckers mentioned, the Advanced Member status occurs after a user reaches 100 forum posts. And yep, best way to tell if you are one is by the blue username. Almost there! 🙂

I think you mean the friendship icon, if a member has a + next to their name that means that they've been added to your contact list
