Men tickling Men

Re: Areenactor...

Tickling might be too sexual for you,but please don't group the rest of the world in your opinions about what orientation they are, because of who they choose to tickle or be tickled by.
I think Myriads said it best, when he said that fetishes can transend genders.

let me think about that cosmo...

nope! if a guy tickles another guy, and there is no direct physical stimuli to the ticklers penis, and he still get's an erection, then he is a homosexual. it may be that he had no intention of ever acting out on it before, and he may never actually have sex with another man, but he has homo. tendencies, pure and simple. don't want/or like my theory? ok, go ask a reputable psycologist.
and cosmo, i don't feel tickling is "too sexual" for me, so hows about you don't either?

Try this on for perspective.

A guy with a major fetish for high heel shoes is walking down the street and suddenly spies a window display full of the newest spikiest heeled shoes. He pops a boner.

There is no partner involved. Yet he has become exceited. How do we class this?

Another example: He spies a transexual strutting down Melrose in the same shoe as he drives by in his car. Pow! he gets hard. Again it's the object (the shoe) not the person that's arousing him.

In the fetish world, the ACT or OBJECT can be more significant then the person whom the act/object is being acted upon/or presenting the object of desire.

In the case of tickling, the effect that tickling has, the mecahnics of the act, and so on, can be more significant then any aspect of the 'lee'. Thus the fetish can transend gender preference without indicating a sexual preference. Simply because it's a contact paraphilia rather then a vision oriented fetish doesn't change the psychology.

Think of it this way, if you see two straight girls kissing at a party isn't considered "gay". A lot of men find this attractive and girls do it for fun or attention.

Two guys kissing will always be considered gay, there is no other way of looking at it. The same applies to tickling.

Good point. 🙂

"Two guys kissing will always be considered gay, there is no other way of looking at it. The same applies to tickling. "

'Always' is way too bold and definite a statement for anything sex and/or kink related; never say never and never say always. There was a time when two women kissing would 'always' be considered gay, and disgusting, and even a criminal offense in some places. You couldn't tell ANYONE about your love of tickling, spanking, feet, or what have you without being put away. Hell,as a woman of color I couldn't marry my causcasian hubby just a few decades ago without the free world freaking out. Times change, people evolve and see things in a different light. The more we learn about human nature, the more the uptight and narrow-minded have to chill the hell out or be seen as dinosaurs and disregarded.

Thanks everyone for your comments and oppinions. It obviously is all "A matter of Taste" but think about this one, for you guys, if you had a choice to tickle a real handsome dude or a big fat ugly discusting smelly dirty scanky poorly groomed women, which would you pick? hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?????????????????

I would choose not to tickle. This isn't really a choice.

Well steve, i think Myriads explained the quote i made from him better then how i did. The ball is in your court now.

After seeing it put another way here, as far as if it were in a group situation with women participating and running the scene, I may be ok with a M/ joining in.
Strictly M/M however is not gonna happen. FFF.../M... would probably be acceptable. Being a straight male I am secure enough in my manhood to be so acceptable to it.

TTD

WOW!!! This is a totally different TTD from the one I met 3 years ago. The one who tortured me for 7+ hours for jokingly suggesting he hook up with a gay man for a tickling session. 😛

I can only assume that shygirl has something to do with this reformation. WTG shygirl.

doing the dinosaur shuffle

no matter how myriads puts it, it's still a rose.
and his example doesn't work!
the guy with the shoe fetish sees either just the shoe, or sees it in his mind with a woman's foot inside it.
and using the transvestite is the same as using a woman. you're still dealing with heterosexual fatisizing.
try putting a guys foot into a pair of pumps, with his hairy legs showing, and see if the shoe guy gets aroused?

i understand the idea of being turned on by tickling, and i have tickled guys(big suprise huh?) and i didn't get a hard on! but give me a willing lady to tickle, and i'll last only a short time before becomming turged.

let's just say i disagree with bella,(big suprise again) and if that makes me a dinasaur, cool! i still find the site of 2 women kissing to be as much of a no-no as 2 men. but this is another topic.

Time for my spare change

First of all, someone said "a finger is a finger" a few pages back. I disagree with that, more often that not I notice a large difference in the touch of a man to a woman... my experience in tickling isn't really large enough to know how well that applies to tickling... but at least in general touches, massages or hugs theres a large noticable difference to me.

As far as M/M tickling goes... its definately not something I go looking for, though it happens. Currently, I have 3 male friends that I can remember tickling or being tickled by:

Chris, we are really good friends, we hug occasionally and are both perfectly straight. Occasionally, if the situation is one where you'd normally playfully shove or punch one another, sometimes one of us would poke the other. Nothing serious, but it is tickling... and means nothing... I don't mind it at all.

John, we are also really good friends, the we hug when saying goodbye... the difference being that he is gay. I do mind being tickled by John because he's told me that he finds me attractive... and even though I know he'd never try and do anything more than one sidedly flirt with me, I do find that kind of touch unwanted because I know its connected to something I don't want to be a part of. I'm not at all homophobic, in one sense I love John, but I am not gay.

Dylan, my oldest friend... and the only guy I've ever had a tickle fight with. Granted, this was many years ago and touching girls might still have been fraut with problems of girl germs... but it was still tickling. We were good friends and we were just mucking around having fun...

Oddly enough though, a year ago, Dylan told me he was gay. Hehe, go figure.

Thats my 5¢... because in Australia they phased out the 1¢ and 2¢_coins years ago.

that's the point Myriads was making, Areenactor. The person see's JUST the shoe. It doesn't matter who's wearing the shoe, or where it is. It's the shoe itself wich causes the reaction.
Evil queen made a good example earlier. If your in a set of stocks, and having your feet licked by a goat, and it tickles, and you get aroused, it doesn't mean you want to have sex with the goat. It's the actual tickling sensation which causes the arousil, or perhaps even just the scene/setting.

Another good point 😀
even though I have no experience with that comment...🙁

Yes, a very good point indeed. The tickling sensation, however it's applied, can arouse people, whether it's a goat's tongue, an electric toothbrush, fingers or whatever. Even when the ler is not using any kind of instrument, fingers are still fingers whether they be part of a male or female body, and so I don't think it's necessarily the case that a male lee who gets an erection from being tickled by another man is gay.

I also think it's probable that if a man who was aroused by tickling was blindfolded and tickled by a man and then a woman, he would likely be aroused the same way in both cases.

That whole blind fold theory might work to some extent but then it would depend on what is going on in the guys mind such as what gender type he THINKS is tickling him, that could differ the boner effect too.

Also, this whole thing about being gay for erecting when m/m tickled, i fail to see how been turned on by having male fingers or what ever tickling you automatically means that you would like to get into sexual relations with em and do all the other stuff gays do. tickling is an entirley different play field for stimulation in many cases, for example, been tickled by a guy might turn them on, kissing or doing anything else might gross them out so those issues need to also be adressed.

Also you might need to consider that the guy might be aroused by sexual relations with women and grossed out by it with men, yet tickling still turns him on with both genders, would that make him bi, even though he gets grossed out where it really matters? or just a tickle lover regardless of who does it?

I believe that if like to get involved in the actual non tickling related sexual intimacy where it really counts with the same sex then and only then can sexuality be addressed.

What feetclimax says makes sense to me. M/m tickling need not be gay in my book.

Interesting: Soap operas resurrect characters lost at sea a year and a half later, and message board users resurrect threads. Well, I'll just re-state what I've said before:

1. It should be seen as a matter of individual taste rather than acceptable or unacceptable.

2. Individuals can speak for themselves as to whether they wish to be considered gay.

3. Virtually anything that's between consenting adults should be considered acceptable on this board. Certainly m/m tickling. Let me say again: We have a proclivity that most of the population would consider weird. We're not in a position to be casting a whole lot of stones at anyone else, or at each other. We're better off listening to each other to learn about "different strokes for different folks." But again, I am only, absolutely only, talking about activities between consenting adults. Anything else is fair game for condemnation, or at least exclusion from acceptance here on this board.

I like girls tickling girls because I'm a guy. However I get turned off if its flat out sexual between them. I assumed girls might be into watching the m/m tickling. So based on that I dont think its a double standard. But wait as many girls as there seem to be on this forum doesnt seem like theres much female support for m/m. But females and males alike seem to enjoy f/f? Whoever said a finger is a finger would probably say a mouth is a mouth aswell lol.
