message tracking in PM's

I disabled message tracking (getting a return receipt on PMs) because I think the implementation is really obnoxious. There's a popup when you try to send a PM, asking if you want a receipt, then another one when you read a PM asking if its ok for the person who sent it to get a receipt. The whole thing drives me a little nuts personally. And in the end, since you can decide not to allow the receipt to be sent, it seems to serve no earthly purpose anyway.

Thank goodness. I figured out that "cancel" avoided it, while sending the message, but that is SUCH a lame UI... Glad it's gone.

Would it be possible to implement this in a different fashion, and turn Message Tracking back on? I really thought it was a useful feature...

There's no way to change the way it's implemented without hacking the forum code, which invalidates the support license.
