Michael Jackson dies at 50 from cardiac arrest

Yesturday was a SAD day with the loss of farrah fawcett...Micheal Jackson...not so much.Yes he was a great performer.....but he was also a pedophile....i find it very hypocritical that the press who basically chased this child molester out of hollywood and out of the limelight are the same people singing praises and mourning the loss of the iconic figure...THE MAN SLEPT WITH AND MOLESTED YOUNG BOYS!!...That is abolutely unforgivable and makes you the scum of the earth for life!..or are we forgiving all the child molesters now? Sure one can put up teh arguement that me was found not guilty..SO WAS OJ!!! and who in there right mind can honestly say OJ was innocent.....Micheal did what he did to those kids and hopefully he's paying for it right now...meanwhile farrahs death falls right off the radar...unfair

The only thing I can say to this is "show me proof". I was never exactly a Jackson fan, but that doesn't mean I'm going to jump on the bandwagon of presuming that he was guilty of crimes against children without something concrete to back that up. There are sick people out there that make claims about celebrities all the time just to attempt to extort money from them. There will always be people that think the man was guilty. Others will believe that he could never have done such a thing. The bottom line is that we will never know for sure. It is my hope that if any of us ever find ourselves in the public spotlight and stand accused of a crime, we will be given the benefit of the doubt. But sadly, there would be those that cast us as criminals that belong behind bars, even if it turns out that we really are innocent. Our reputations would be forever tainted, no matter what. And you know, that really sucks. I choose to remember Michael Jackson for the undeniable impact his music left on people across the entire world. Those that choose to cast stones, so be it.

Here here! That's my stand on it as well.

I find it odd. Yesterday, on a whim (I had been linked to a couple videos for movie trailers from the eighties, so maybe it wasn't too much of a whim) I was chatting with my friend about the king of pop after watching a few of his videos. It wasn't until an hour later at my job that someone came up telling me that he had just died. Strange how coincidences like that happen.

Also strange how before I went to work, most of the comments on youtube were about his alleged pedophilia, and AFTER I came home from work, most of the comments read "R.I.P from (insert location here)"

And now the police want to talk to Jackson's doctor..the doctor who lived with him..who reportedly gave him a shot of demorol earlier that day...uh...demoral??? that's on a par with morphine...gesh

When being weird is a crime, it'll be a sad day for all of us.

I just think old Jackson was sorta disturbed and never got over what happened to him as a kid. Course, he COULD have done therapy and it didn't work out but I don't know if he did.

They call it hypocrisy lol.
It's quite common in the world.
And i'm still not convinced he wasn't a pd.

Even famous people die fairly frequently, but not Michael Jackson.

That's true. In fact... I think this is his first time. 😛

But this is definitely a sad loss for the world. The guy had "natural talent" which he was able to share with the world. It's a shame to lose someone like him. 🙁

Kinda figured this would wind up this way. For myself, like I said, I chose to focus on the positives in a thread that's basically an obituary. You can do shitty things in your life, but they don't put "scumbag" on your tombstone.

I actually had a hard time writing what I did, because I HAVE ripped Jackson to shit before...for the later stuff. Still don't excuse it, and haven't said 'Well, now that he's dead, it's all ok." It ain't.

Just trying to show a little heart in a life that was, in all, pretty tragic...even if mostly self-inflicted. It's like a tale of two people.

Ironically, TT is being much more civilized about the subject than TMF. I don't even want to go there right now because of all the fighting, negativity, and shit talking about a dead man who was the King of Pop.

I went into the chatroom at 10am, everyone's arguing about MJ. I go in there right now, it's the same thing.

At least people can act like adults here.

Word. All the experts that just "know" MJ was a pedophile are making me sick. Show me proof, or you have no credibility.

he died of cardiac arrest, not a heart attack they are completely different... in a full arrest your heart completely stops beating, in an MI (heart attack) there is a blockage in one of the coronary arteries in the heart causing the heart muscle to die within minutes. Just FYI...

Luckily, no American has to prove they're not a criminal.
I'm still not convinced you're not a giant octopus.

I'm new here, but when i read this jackasses post i just had to say my peace. I find it amazing that such an knuckle dragging jerk would open his mouth and be that stupid. In this great country of ours, you do have the right of freedom of speech. You also are innocent until proven guilty. If I remember correctly, he was charged with overwhelming evidence by a white republican "fire and brimstone" prosecutor, it was an all white jury with a 2 to 1 ratio of republican's on it, and media lynched MJ on TV for months. So you want everyone to think an eccentric entertainer who at that time was considered a complete loon, was able to charm that jury to clearing him of all charges. That is a bit of a stretch, don't you think.

I guess the real point of "gilmourwaters" ignorant post, was that if you are a white celeb and are found innocent of a crime, it's cool. However if you are a black celeb, no matter the outcome, you are guilty, guilty, guilty. Don't even get me started on the number of white celeb's over the last 50 years who fall into that category. I would agree, MJ made some bad choices and did not use good judgement on several fronts. There should have been clear boundaries, as well as people around him to make sure he was in check.

Even with your flawed assumptions on said proof, the first kid's parents settled. Which makes you wonder, if it was my child, I wouldn't have settled for no amount of money. I would have wanted to see the molester in jail for a long time. The second family was caught admitting they were trying to blackmail MJ, and the parents split. The security guard was fired for stealing and swore that he would get revenge on MJ and the final witness kept changing his story. Everyone else who testified at the trial said MJ didn't do anything sexual to them, though some of his behavior was deemed strange and at times inappropriate.

Michael Jackson was an abused child, the primary bread winner of his family from age 9 throughout most of his life, an outstanding entertainer (singer, songwriter, dancer), broke the color barrier whose affects are still felt today, personally donated untold millions to charity, brought media attention to some of the greatest problems our planet has and is a troubled soul with serious demons.

Whether you are a fan or not, believe in his innocence or not, everyone should remember just one thing...First and foremost he is the child of parents and the sibling of brothers and sisters, who may not always got along with him, but did love him. No family should have to go through such a thing, and even a PRICK like "gilmourwaters" should understand that.

LOL @ " knuckle dragging jerk ". Don't be afraid to hold anything back on your first post.

What i find rather interesting or not..is that most who think Jackson was guilty seem to be from the male population...i know my husband considers him to have been guilty...and thus the arguments begin again between us..i already stated on page four or three of this thread my views on what i feel...i won't go into that again...i would like to ask though...

Wouldn't you think the richer the person, the more competent doctors they have??? If this doctor were legit, he should have accompanied Michael to the hospital..and of course moved him to the floor while administering CPR...gesh

Most amusing. :rolleyes

Justice is relative if you have money and can throw a few millions around to make people back of. I've stopped believing in it ages ago, ever seeing how law and justice are applied over here.
A socialist mayor is punched and you get 5 years. Some little thugs kill an old lady or a criminal shoots at people and they get set free. There is no objectivity and rationality in law when ideology or money is involved.

As for gilmourwaters, don't be intimidated in your opinion by the others. Your view is most valid. The fact he died recently and is being hyped should not influence your opinion.
The fact he responds to you by using insults says enough in my eyes.

You're right, it is amusing that birds of a feather, flock together. I'm curious, when you reference "thugs" is that because Michael Jackson is black or that anyone who arrested for a crime is considered a thug, even though he was acquitted. I wish individuals such "Darth Vegeta" would spend more time using his computer to chase down facts instead of using supposition to slander someone.

A few examples:

In New York during the 80's, 5 (Black & Hispanic) kids get arrested and convicted on rape charges. 14 years later, they are found innocent because their DNA doesn't match the evidence from the crime scene, once word gets out a witness comes forward. It's then proved that one man did the crime who just happened to be in jail for murder and rape. The DA doesn't want to admit a mistake and believes they are still guilty because in his mind (just like yours), all black people are guilty regardless of the facts. Eventually all the kids, now men are freed.

or

Jerry Miller who on October 1, 1982, Miller was convicted of rape, robbery and kidnapping. The Innocence Project took on Miller’s case in 2005. After DNA testing excluded Miller, the Cook County State Attorney’s Office had to vacate and dismiss Miller’s conviction on April 23, 2007. That's 25 years of his life behind bars because an all white jury found him guilty. Hey, black man & dead white woman, he must have did it. The perpetrator’s profile was also entered into the FBI convicted offender database, which implicated another man "Robert Weeks". Weeks is currently facing charges in several other sexual assaults.

In the last few years, 200 people have been arrested, prosecuted, convicted, and sent to prison for years (14 of whom had been sentenced to death), eventually to have their innocence established by scientific proof. 200 people who served a total of 2,475 years in prison, almost one million nights, for crimes they did not commit. Over 80% were Black or Hispanic, and when jury members were interviewed from these past cases, they admitted they found the person guilty, not because of the evidence, but on the theory that because of who they were they most likely did it.

My point is this, people can say what ever they want, just use facts. Calling someone a child molester and proving it are 2 different things. Like OJ, he was guilty as hell and should of rot in prison for that crime, but when you allow a famed corrupt police force, a crime scene run by the keystone cops who screwed up all the evidence, an overzealous DA and your investigation in run by a well known racist detective, you don't need to be rich or a celeb to get off on all charges.

P.S.

I guess you were wrong "Darth Vegeta", i didn't need to insult someone to make my point. After reading your opinions on race and going though many of your old posts on the subject of tickling, I'm curious, do you use just a White Hood or an all White Sheet to cover your face. Just a thought, my brother...

Michael Jackson dying at 50 is not a surprise. Michael Jackson dying at 90 would've been a surprise.

And yet, millions of people are shocked. Probably because until now, there was no inclination to his drug habit. Theories and speculations, maybe, but nothing substantial. Farrah Fawcett's death, while sad, was no surprise. Michael Jackson's death was a bit of a shock.
