Holy HELL I hate my WWI class book. I'm about 50 pages from the end of this 200 page beast, and it hasn't failed to buzzkill my day once. Yesterday, I was feeling extremely playful, wanting to get online and bug a few of my friends (mostly into an rp 😀), but 2 pages in I was bawling like a baby.

If we had more people like you, maybe we wouldn't have to hear any more about casualties, troop levels, military appropriations, etc.

I once had an experience similar to yours when I tuned my shortwave radio in to the BBC on one evening. News about every stinking war in the whole stinking world.
