I have seen this system used in many different forums, and it seems to work rather well. There have been problems recently with flames and such, and the mods have had alot to deal with. I think the TMF could benefit from a "warning point" system. What I mean is, each time you flame, or post something that is a blatant insult or personal shot, you get 1 warning point. Let's say the limit is 9 warning points...if you get that many, you are permanently and automatically banned without question. Of course, when points are handed out, it would have to be carefully observed...but all in all I think the system would suit the TMF well. Just a suggestion, what do you think myriads? 🙂
 
We have something informal like that in Admin. We watch violation level and after a point suspensions start.
