LOL~Hi friends, just a quickie here. I accidentally fell onto a boxed mirror last night (we're rennovating a couple rooms and the place is a disaster~stuff everywhere!) Sliced my elbow up, had to go to ER for stitches where they let me sit forever, chewed me out for excessive use of the "f-bomb" 😀 (I hate waiting around!) and laughed at me for cracking up during the procedure "Damn, she's taking this really well, give me some of what she's having!" (little bit of vodka, not drunk off my ass or anything...)

Anyways, going to still be around (esp for those of you who need me 😉 ) but if y'all can ease up a little on the IM requests, marathon posting, etc, while I heal up, I'd love ya forever...Thanx so much darlins!

I remember hurting my ankle once, and went to a specialist, (female one I might add) and instead of trying to help my ankle, she tickled my feet in the process, adding to the agony😀

I'm sorry to read of your accident. I hope you feel better soon.

I've been in your position once or twice myself. It's kind of like you've paid the bill (pain and inconvenience) now relax and enjoy the benefits (more free time).

Take care Steph. If I was there I'd be glad to help you out. I'd make your lunch, do your chores, scratch your back... you know, wait on you hand and foot... well, at least on your foots! 😉

Oh, LOL~haven't exactly "paid the bill." The Mr. just lost his job so I'm currently uninsured (I might look into my homeowners ins...) I can file for county but there'll be a big ass share of cost and it won't cover the 900$ ambulance ride. No time off work either (want some cheese with your WHINE???)😛

Man, am I feeling sorry for m'self right now, kidz~I can't even get my top on without help. Little things I take for granted~taking a shower, putting on my seatbelt. etc. has become this huge chore. I went to the grocery store today and came home exhausted. People kept smiling at me, I must've looked like I needed it.

I know this is nothing compared to what people with real disabilites face but I just needed to vent. I'm gonna finish going thru all my mail, and go to a friend's barbecue for a little while. Hope all are having a groovy Saturday!
