I'm not sure if I'd have to learn Flash first but figured I'd ask anyway. For when I do have a domain for all my art, I'm working on a map of the town that most of my characters are from. I wanted to set it up so you could click on different parts of the map that would link you to a corresponding page about that area, like Cali's Neighborhood or Doc Insaniacs Mansion, etc...

Any help?

Ask Kurchatovium. He's done the same basic thing quite often on his site.

What you need to do is Image map the picture. Most paint progams allow you to do this (ie Photoshop, Paintshop pro, etc.). So you really don't need to learn anything fancy. For the artgallery stuff I recommend using software from coffecup.com called HTML Pic Converter its a easy way to set up a quick gallery without having to program it all. 😀 😀

I am not yet familar with Photoshop although I hope to get a copy soon. I am familar with Paintshop Pro. I am certain Photoshop has this feature it has almost everything. Image maps are done with html not with photoshop. One has to define a map and then coordiantes for the hots zones that click. Or you can use an auto editor to set it up. It's not that hard.
