Most shocking ending/surprise ending in horror flicks

I'd say one of them, and one of my fav horror movies, would be the ending to "The Blair witch project". Even if you didn't like this movie, you have to concede that the people who came up with the idea were brilliant as far as marketing and sales go.

Scream...i really did NOT see that coming

no, seriously!

IM BEING SERIOUS!!!

ok, im kidding, but is still a good tongue in cheek movie

while were on the subject of horror movies, has anyone ever seen 'Granny'?

the subtitle: 'She'll love you...to pieces', me and my friend just fell about laughing, i had to buy it, and i can say it is the funniest film ever, sort of along the same lines as Scream, Last Summer etc, but with even worse acting and special effects, OH and THE worst ending ever, and im not even joking...

i actually feel like watching it now, ive sold it to myself 😛

Did anyone see I Spit On Your Grave? When the guy gets seduced into the bathtub by the woman and she starts to give him a handjob in the bubblebath and then cuts his cock off. Then she gets up locks the door and turns up the opera record so noone canhear him scream.

Although the movie itself was a bit of a letdown, IMO, the ending to Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers really stands out. Loomis, in horror, screaming, "NO! NO-NO-NO..." over and over again when he realizes that little Jamie had been cursed by Michael (as the classic, ominous Halloween theme plays). Then the slow motion scenes that followed, as he pulls the gun on her and attempts to fire, only to have the police knock it away. Then they all look up the staircase, at a possessed Jamie, with clown mask on and bloody scissors in hand. Probably the single most disturbing ending in the series.

a good choice. i thought halloween 4 and 5 tied in very nicely together, after that it got kinda weird, but all in all a pretty good series (we wont talk about halloween 3 though....). peace..........BLUE_THUNDER

Thanks. Yeah, they did tie nicely together in terms of continuity. But really, nothing can capture the magic of the 2 Carpenter/Hill originals. I'm just hoping that Halloween 9 turns out to be good. Apparently, Rob Zombie is directing. I hope he sticks close to the original formula, because "House of 1000 Corpses" was just weird. Apparently, he's a huge fan of the series though, so I guess we'll just need to wait and see.
