Mothers Day plans

Well Mothers day iis nearly upon us and are famiily's going to do the usual get together in Grand Rapids. Was wondering though aside from usual flowers that everybody gets, I'm looking for different ideas on how to wow your mom so to speak. Now I've thought of poetry but I don't even know how to go about getting a poem started since I've never really been a writer. I was wondering if there was something extra I could do for mom to make this day more meaniingful? Any suggestions?

I usually take my mom out to her favorite restaurant, coupled with the obligatory flowers and some other small gift (bath salts, potted plants, ect....)

Gifts aren't everything though mate. Just let your mom know you love her, sometimes a simple hug and kiss does just that.

Plus, serving breakfast in bed is a tried and true gift as well 🙂

I have decided to add to my mother's already substantial confusion with technology and got her an Ipod....

...and in turn got myself 8 months of tech support requests......what have I done?!?!

Well for my traditional mother's day, I tell her I'm going to take her out to eat and wish her a happy mother's day. I suggest she pick a day and get back with me. When she doesn't I call her back and ask her about days that she always seems to be busy on...then nothing happens until the next year when it starts all over again. Ah.

I usually take my mum out for lunch or dinner, it's not just so I can spend cash on her but so we can have a couple of hours of quality time together.
