ROTFL!!

I forgot about James Bond... I think my favorite line comes from "You Only Live Twice". As he departs for Japan, Money Penny asks if he needs a Japanese/English dictionary. ".. You forget, I had a half a semester of Asian studies at Cambridge!" ROTFLMAO Which of COURSE means now he's fluent in Japanese!!

I forgot about "Heartbreak Ridge", Dan. That one always cracks me up with some of Clint Eastwoods lines.
Like:
"I'm Gunnery Sgt. Highway, and I've drank more beer, pissed more blood, kicked more ass, banged more quiff...."

or something like that

Drew

my list keeps getting longer...

I vote for anything starring Clint Eastwood, Gary Cooper and John Wayne and anything directed by Alfred Hitchcock...

Is Midnight Run that one with Mark Hamill in it, where he plays this crazy janitor or something like that? Its an old movie and I can't remember it in detail. Mark Hamill is really funny when he plays psychopath roles. That laugh he has, that funny infectious laugh is funny. Its probably what makes him famous as the voice of the Joker in the Batman cartoons. 😀

No! It stars Robert DeNiro and Charles Grodin. Robert DeNiro plays a bounty hunter given the assignemnt to arrest Charles Grodin who plays an accountant who embezzled millions of dollars from businesses owned by a Mafia boss, played by Dennis Farina. Basically, DeNiro goes to NY from LA to find Grodin and arrest him. When he collars him he has to bring him back cross country. On the way back Grodin is just constantly annoys DeNiro with his needling and stupid comments. Meanwhile, Grodin is being chased by the FBI and Mafia guy that he stole the $$. there is also a rival bounty hunter trying to get the same arrest and going to all lengths to bring Grodin back so he can collect the reward. It's 3,000 miles of hot prusiut from three different parties. Rent the movie, it's is hysterical!!

i forgot about "Clue". i love that one too.

and also "High Noon" - classic drama and cinematography.

1776

The Producers

Just about ANY Broadway musical (No, I'm NOT gay! Heh heh heh J/K)

Cast Away. (I assume I will eventually stop crying)

Personal Best. (And I have, over, and over, and over....)

The Day of the Dolphin

I like Hitchcock, too. Also Wes Craven.

Any good horror movie that doesn't rely too much on pure shock value.

Most Science fiction.

And, of course, a clever comedy. ("The Producers" leaps to mind).

Newsies?! Hunny, you are officially my best friend. I had the most RIDICULOUS crush on Brooklyn when I was l0-ish... and nobody even needs to question the hotness of Christian Bale. Brooklyn was also the voice of Little Foot in the first Land Before Time.

I also wish to add
1776 (HOW could I forget?!)

Clue (a staple of my childhood... "That's not true!" "Is THAT true?" "No, it isn't true." "HA! A double negative!" "Double negative? You mean you have photographs??"
"You lure men to their deaths like a spider with flies!" "Flies are where men are most vulnerable." (RIP, Madeline Kahn)

Blazing Saddles

The Hours (wait, did I already say that?)

Pennies From Heaven

The Sound of Music (I still get soooo nervous when the Nazis are looking for them, and I've been watching this movie since I could hold my head up independently)

An American Tail (incredible movie. also sweet memories of watching it while cuddling in bed with my first grade teacher. Wait a minute, that doesn't sound innocent at all... wow. That sounds so wrong!)

Ack! How could I forget John Wayne??

The Quiet Man

McClintock!

Yes, both are movies with Maureen O'Hara. Gotta keep the family pride! Holla for famous relatives!! Whoo!

Also, remember the TV movie "Switched at Birth"? It's really long and not very good, but every time it's on I have to watch it. Don't know why...

Mwah!
