Msn instant messenger vs. Aim instant messenger

Which one is overall better? and why?


i would say Msn instant messenger is because they have better smileys and a Web cam feature for people that use webcams. Plus your able to change your msn display name


But oddly enough🙄 i have started using Aim(or also known as Aol) instant messenger myself though! go figure

i too like yahoo the best. plus microsoft is the devil's lair. you don't want to get your identity into their database! they see and know everything.

I primarily use AIM (on the rare, once in a bluemoon occasions that I actually log in to the $%^* thing.), but only because that's where I know all my friends are. I know that Yahoo has got some better features, and I like the concept of IMvironments, but I don't even use instant messaging often, anyway.

Maybe this is mean, but you ever notice that when you log in, the person you really DON'T want to talk to immediately IMs you, and you don't want to be rude, but they just never seem to get a clue that you're busy?

In that case, I'd take AIM over MSN any day. I don't really care about webcams, since I don't have one, and I'm not really interested in what other people look like.

I have all 3 - I use MSN more for the simple reason it's what all my friends use.

Yahoo is the best...AIM download a bunch of files on your computer that you have no idea about and MSN messenger has cool smilies but i prefer Yahoo Messenger over them all..but if i have to choose i would say MSN

Ive actually had more problems with MSN than with AIM, so Ill say AIM is better
