Hello Jeff, I was thinking about running costs of the TMF the other day and I was thinking about your use of this place for advertising. Would it be possible for you to claim that as a business expense and claim the tax back from the server costs? It was just a thought anyway, hope it helps.

jef, (and TIB, and any other video company present on this forum) why don't you guys use the egroups to advertise your videos?
All that is advertised there is credit card comapnies and hard core porn. You may get many new customers who are ready for some refreshing content. Post a few preview pictures, and I'm sure you would attract a lot of new customers...and it's free! All those other people do it, I mean, many of the groups are almost all off topic porn advertisements, and even those don't send pictures, just a bunch of rantings. I've seen people ask for tickling pictures, and they were usually ignored.

The TMF costs between $400 and $600 a month to keep running because of server costs. At the momemt of course Jeff of MTP pays for it along with the donations of members. I'm glad however he can claim back tax because it'd be considered a business expense.

According to Myriads, no it won't. It's supported by voluntary contributions and MTP's patronage because it provides an advertising outlet. There are no plans to make this site cost money to the ordinary members.
