My tickle-themed tattoo: your opinions

I think a smallish, peacock-feather, with a lot of colors would be really cool and nice looking. I'm a fan of behind-the-ear. Foot tattoos are really cliche these days and I hear very painful. Although behind the ear isn't going to feel good either, I think it's a more interesting spot. However, when doing something small, if it's very detailed it won't come out right. Here are a few examples. The last being very abstract.

Myr brings up some great points~I do favor black/gray shadings like the large tarot card tat on my back (he doesn't name them as such in his post but I think it's what he meant coming as a non-inked one?) His initial post should be mandatory reading in ALL tattoo parlors IMHO. I wanted color but my artist convinced me the intricacy of my pic using color could make the colors run, ugh...Just a big old mess. I'm glad I took his advice.

I don't mind the rainbow feather idea but be aware it may cement you as gay/bi in the eyes of others and I'm not judging, I don't know if you're either. I'm just saying be prepared for any backlash from that.

Nicole Ritchie has the most gorgeous anklet/foot cross tattoo I've ever seen but I imagine that hurt a LOT~there's no fat there. I don't have a pic but I'm sure it's easily tracked.

Think LONG TERM aging~why oh why does no one ever do this?? The darling Rolling Stones logo on my gf Yvonne's left breast is gonna look like HELL in 10 years when the toll of three kids and gravity kicks in.

And finally, I don't know what you're built like or what your physical history is, most tattoo artists will try and steer you away from the rib cage area due to the pain factor. If you're thin, it's all bone. If you're bigger and/or have a long complex medical history (and used to being poked) or are really into pain, you might be just fine.

I must say that Myriads has made alot of great points.
Yes it is great that you want to shout out to the world and express to others your intense great love and passion for tickling-but like myriads said-it is going to be longterm and not temporary and not short-term. It has to be a careful decision that you make that will be what fits you best in future in the long term friend. Euphoric Strokes, just think long and carefully and go with your heart but research it and don't make any decisions lightly-make sure you do your homework, but in the end if you decide that is the thing for you-go for it and be true to yourself. Hope that has helped.

Aside note I think it is great that you are so brave and have so much courage to take such a great big step expressing and showing your passion and love for tickling. Hugs to you.

I would suggest using the first feather high on your right side with the yellow end pointing toward your underarm. I think it would look great!!
