Myspace.com and the backlash it has taken in the news lately (For ALL Myspace users)

I don't know about where you guys live. But in my state alone there has been about 4 news storys on separate nights about the website Myspace.com that were run in the last few weeks. For pedophile children related issues and for staying safe on the website and racist kkk clan stuff in some of the local high schools in our state.

So with all the hype that Myspace is getting (for all the wrong and bad reasons mind you). Since i heard it's the 4th most popular website online.

Do you ever see Myspace.com shutting down it's website for good all together? or Having members at least paying so much money a month for the website and it's services so it's no longer free to use?

Since this website is very VERY popular worldwide now. I just wanted your opinion on things.

I wasn't aware of this at all! I've been using Myspace for awhile and I love it! It just sucks that a few people would have to do stupid stuff and ruin it for everyone else. Myspace is a great way for me to keep in touch with my friends all over the country (since I have moved so many times). It would be terrible if they started requiring a fee.

this can be dealt with easily....just check the flag box "spam/abuse" above the message to report it. I've had only 2 instances where I did that though!

Although most of the msgs I get are from sweeties, there are some real freaks I've been contacted by there.
