I don't have a decent picture to hand, but my clear contact ball is something I never leave the house without...

My used Bandaid collection.

We have a winnah!!! :blaugh:

In all honesty, if we're talking about things one owns as opposed to things one is...

I have several pieces of Cassandra Cain/Batgirl art. Among my faves is the original cover by James Jean to Batgirl #50, where BG is kicking Batman's ass. I have yet to get it properly matted and framed, but this is what the comicbook cover looked like:

Material things mean little to me,they come and they go and i do my best not to invest to much in them.

What matters to me is good friends that i can depend on,and hope that they feel the same about me.Without that what does it all matter in the end?🙂

My video games. I would kill over my video games. From my Atari and NES, to my 360. You'll reach with your hand and pull back a bloody stump!

My movie collection. And yes, I count them.....EVERYDAY!

And last, but definitely not least.....my tickle fetish! Yeah...just try to come and take it from me!

I have a ring carved by Vidal Aragon that I got for my 21st birthday. He's a Pueblo Indian silversmith, all his rings are hand carved, and every single one is different.

when it comes to items, my great grandpa's Operette harmonica is something i just cannot lose. it was willed to me after he passed away so long ago.

This was harder than I thought - but aside from all the living people/things in my house, if my house was on fire and i could only grab one thing, (assuming my engagement ring was on my finger) I'd grab my stuffed monkey Michael bought me for our 1st Christmas together :smilelove cheesy..yes LOL but it's true 🙂

Yeah, in that sense, if it was something I 'OWNED' instead of 'was' I'd say my watch.

I bought it from a buddy of mine during AIT and have had it every since. (Best $10 I ever spent)

The band has broken 2-3 times and it has scratches all over it, but I've never changed the battery and it's been with me no matter what.

The only other thing I'd consider is perhaps one of my many Steelers shirts/hats/jerseys.

I have this little teddy bear that I got in high school; carried with me throughout basic military training; taken with me on a couple tours of the former Yugoslavia (he was a fixture in my web gear and assault vests); was in my survival pack when I worked with fish & wildlife; kept me company when I was alone in the woods working for forestry; went through nursing school in my locker; and is now sitting on my desk.

I would've said my dog, but he's more of a companion than a possession.

Since you said one "item," I'm going to go with something inanimate. My car. 😀

My computer, as it is my connection to the world.

I may not have food... but I'll be damned if I'm going to be without my PC

my copy of the triple combination (bible, book of mormon and the doctrine and covenants)

my piano, as I would be lost without it

I hate to say it, but it is my collection of books. It's a disease, really. And it is out of control, but I can't STOP....

Sob

Really, I do love my books.
