National Tickle someone day

Does any one know if there is a national tickle someone day, or something to that timber. If there isn't we should toss around some ideas for dates to get the ball rolling.

I would think that it should be in a warmer month when people don't wear shoes or coats.

This one lady I knew had a Pressed Fairy calender (from the Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy book). It listed all the fairy holidays. One was a chicken tickling day, but it was for leprechauns. You're not a leprechaun, are you?

I don't know why, but that little line set me off on the biggest case of giggles when I read it earlier today. And then we went out to a chinese restaurant for lunch, and Lazzy tried slipping something I did not want onto my plate....so I stabbed him with my fork. And that reminded me of this and set me off ALL OVER AGAIN right there in the dining room. The people next to us thought I was nuts.

It's certainly a cute concept, though!

I'm all for it! The community should most definately pick a day! It would be like on St. Patricks day if you don't wear green you get pinched except you would tickle and be tickled and you wouldn't have to wear green... YAY!

When I'm done using a fork in this context, 'hon', the last thing on your mind is tickling. Violent perhaps, but sometimes that's the only way pests learn... 🙄

It's a case of making up a date and telling some radio stations and probably Roger Stern...although being in NZ I really have no idea what Stern's deal is but I see his name a lot around here. Radio station DJ's are often saying things like (and this is a real one) 'did you know its international wear a woolen sweater day'.

The idea of 'tickle someone day' isn't as outlandish as it may seem at first glance. It's merley a matter of deciding a date and getting word out.
