Denver wins 4-3

In the West:
Dallas 4-2
Phoenix 4-1
San Antonio 4-2 ( Anyone taking Denver in this series is delusional )
Houston 4-3

My horses (the Lakers) are gonna be out of the race soon, but the only prediction I'm prepared to make now is if Dallas gets run out of the playoffs by The Golden State Warriors, Mark Cuban will climb the highest oil rig in Texas and jump off...... :ermm:

Dallas is done. When the playoffs first began, I thought the Warriors would give the Mavericks a run for their money. I thought it would go seven because I felt they could play with them. Now I think it will not go past six games and Dallas will be sent home for good. And I love how Don Nelson is treating this situation.

it will be a "murder suicide" in Dallas......

oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Cuban will push :hipoke: Dirk Nowitzski off the oil rig before he jumps off himself.... :jester:

Go Suns!!

Great win by the Suns. They had me scared for a long while, but I'm just glad to see them tie this thing up. Hopefully they can go home and take care of business.

i saw the game and man, the Spurs are putting the hurt on the Suns. The Suns may have won the game, but they wont survive the series if it goes 7 games.

The Suns are soft. I only wish the Lakers did this kind of play to the Suns. The weird thing is, San Antonio used to be called "soft" in the sense that they fold in the clutch. They have always been physical, but when they play a team as physical as they were (i.e. Shaq/Kobe Lakers), they fold.

I hope the Spurs win this series. The Suns are a cocky group of guys who never won anything. Starting from their coach all the way down, these guys think they are the greatest of all teams. I really want them to lose. Phoenix will say they are "man" enough, but you know the physicality is getting to them. This isnt their style of basketball. And if the Suns get really pissed off over Horry's antics, all they need to do is pop in a tape of last year and watch Raja Bell clothesline Kobe Bryant. Karma is a bitch isnt it? The Suns better not be a bunch of pussies and whine about the physical play.

I think the Suns will be just fine, whether they win or lose the next game. They're going to prove that their style of play works. I wouldn't call them soft, they're just a offensively-minded, finesse team. The can be physical when they have too. And Kobe deserved that clothesline he got last season. Raja was tired of being hit and he dealt with it. I hope Horry is suspended for what he did.

if Kobe deserved that clothesline, then Nash deserved his shot tonight. Raja Bell is and always will be a bitch. the Spurs are uncharacteristically playing physical defense probably because Amare Stoudemire opened his trap. The Suns style of play is exciting to watch, but dammit, they are soft. that's the reason why the Lakers actually had a 3-1 edge over the Suns last year. they got real physical with them. They didnt do that this year and out they went in 5. Phoenix is a finesse team and once they get banged around, they are not going to survive.

it's just like football. when you have a team that constantly runs the ball and run it WELL, then when that team plays a team that isnt as physical, the running team will have their way in the late stages of the game. constant pounding takes a toll on you. The Suns are going to experience that. San Anotnio controls it's own destiny. The Suns will not win this series with their style. They will win because San Antonio choked it up.

Nash didn't deserve anything. The Spurs are the ones who have been getting away with questionable things this series. The Spurs played their style of b-ball for a lot of the game. They had the game in control but couldn't get away from the Suns. I think the Suns proved that they could hang, no matter what.

Quoted for truth. This is a man with an over-inflated sense of his own worth. I am a mavericks fan. I hated him when he played for us, I hate him still. I like Phoenix, but San Antonio is more experienced, and much more physical, which will ultimately win them this series. I will admit, that Horry was out of line tonight. I love the guy, but his actions were pretty shameful.

Am I the only one that was baffled, by the fact that Tim Duncan wasn't considered for MVP? This man is the most consistent player in the game today, IMO.

Dirk? Gimme a damn break. I am a die hard Mavs fan, and I can't stand him. He has NEVER been able to deliver when it REALLY matters. Tim Duncan is just a master of the fundamentals.

Steve Nash deserved to win it again. He is more valuable to his team than Tim Duncan and Dikr Nowitzki. Timmy is good but there were at least three other people who deserved the award over him. The Spurs also have Parker, Ginobli, Horry, Bowen, and Finley. They have a group of very good players and Timmy just happens to be the best. They'd still be very competitive w/o him. And I don't know why yall are hatin' on Raja Bell. He's a good player, a vital part of the Suns team. And I hope the Suns win it their way so people can see that a championship can be won with their style of play.

Are you a Suns fan? I mean, do you watch all of thier games? When Bell played for Dallas, I saw him on a night to night basis. He IS a dirty player. He DOES think he's better than he actually is. I can't speak 100 percent for Phoenix, but I know how he was when he played in Dallas, and he hasn't changed at all, based on what I've seen.

I like the team, the players and their style of ball, but they aren't my favorite team. I don't really remember seeing Bell play much for the Mavs. I mostly remember him for playing with the Sixers and Suns. I think he's a good player, good on both ends of the floor. I'm not saying he'll be in an All-Star game anytime soon, but he comes to play. I would say that the Spurs are dirtier than Bell or anyone on the Suns. He hasn't had any problems, except tonight when Horry hit Nash. I think it was Bell who got into it a little with Horry.

Who took my Bulls and left these impostors???

looks like your boys are back in the hunt, TG........ :cool2:

Ben Wallace is my favorite defensive player, and it looks like he's starting to get his motor running......

Detroit better "fear da fro", baby!..... 😛

Indeed! Last night was beautiful! I didn't expect them to be able to pull that off in Detroit. Go Bulls!!

I tell you what, either next year or the year after that Bulls team is going to the finals, they need one more piece. However, Ben Wallace looked very old in this series. I know there are reports of a bad back, and hopefully that's all it is. If not, then you now know why Detroit didn't resign him for the money the Bulls did.

5 straight trips to the conference finals, not too shabby.

yeah, the Pistons were my pick to win it all.....after I saw what they did to my Lakers when they played in the finals, I never doubt the chances of a team that can really lay some defense on a team when they want to....

But for a guy with a bad back, "Big Ben" did a pretty good job against Shaq, in the playoff games against the Miami Heat.......although admittedly, Shaq himself is probably about ready to check into a Palm Beach retirement home soon..... :manicd:

If the Cavs don't shut the Nets down tonight, we will go down in history as being ahead 2-0 and losing the series! LeBron makes me sick-90 mil + endorsements and he can't shoot free throws? Did he go the the Shaqullle O Neal school of free throwing? Man, this team pisses me off sometimes-will Cleveland ever make it to the Big Dance? 😡 There was absolutely no excuse for the loss the other night; they looked constipated on the court.

Yeah, I probably should be glad they made it this far; but other teams have gone further from here. Enough of the excuses-just bring home the friggin' title for goodness sake!

If there's one thing I don't want to see it's another Spurs/Pistons final. Hopefully Cleveland can close it out tonight and defeat the Pistons in the conference finals. And I think the Suns can win tonight to force a game 7, and hopefully they'll close out things back at home. Suns/Cavs is the final I want to see. It's the final that a lot of people want to see.

Somebody had better get around to telling LeBron and company what they need to do. I wish they'd get rid of Mike Brown; he's thoroughly useless as a coach! Besides, if you take off his glasses, he looks like an eggplant with legs! He couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper bag IMO!

Mark my words; if they don't shut the Nets down tonight, the only place the Cavs will be going for the finals is in front of their tv sets!

I don't think there's anything to worry about. I have faith that Lebron will lead his team to victory.

My money is on new jersey tonight.

Money lost. I'm glad the Cavs were able to win, and I hope they make it to the finals, but I just wish the Suns would have won tonight. Hopefully they'll get it done with the team they have because I really want to see them win together. Anyway, there goes the ratings, at least for the Western part of it.
